This time around New Balance brings the New Orleans emcee on as a part of their Excellence Makers series as they follow him in London where he’s reportedly working on his new album….

Apparently this pretty cool joint produced by Steve Spacek was recorded back in 2004 with Raphael Saadiq, Common, & Ledisi. Not sure why it was never used & it’s quite possible that the song isn’t even finished. I can just imagine all the other soulful dopeness that’s probably laying around on the hard drives of Raphael Saadiq or even Steve Spacek for that matter….
