Dutch ReBelle – “No Less” (Video) @DutchReBelle
The beautiful Boston area honey Dutch ReBelle drops a brand new video for ‘No Less’ which is one of my favorite joints off of her latest project ‘ReBelle Diaries’ that’s out now! Peep the cool video directed by Seba Films. It’s clearly evident that she’s visually stunning just from admiring the flicks on her instagram page, but the new single is further proof that she’s not just a pretty face. Dutch ReBelle is providing ‘No Less’ than dopeness.

D’Angelo – Brown Sugar (@KingMost Redirection)
Sexy but sped up. Yep. Punched up, break-and-kick beat’d out… Never thought you’d hear “Brown Sugar” (by D’Angelo) re-done like this. Bet. Dope though.
With all projects rooted in diversity, Mixologi teams up with DJ Kingmost (SF) for a redirection of D’Angelo’s classic “Brown Sugar,” blended with the sounds of Lord Shorty, the godfather of Soca. This remix is truly the best of both worlds.
Raiders Of The Lost Art (Part 2) [Documentary]
Having a Part 1 implied at least a Part 2, right? And with as monumental a happening as the formation and release of PRhyme is… you didn’t think we would leave you hanging with just a piece of the story they have to tell…
Did you? C’mon now!
Is your rhyme dope? If it ain’t, it don’t mean sh!t. That’s the bottom line.
– DJ Premier
Bonus: Adrian Younge’s contributions to “PRhyme” are highlighted. Catch up with the first part before hitting play, if you need to (below). Link to the pre-order follows, too.

Baby Blak – “The Bottom Line” (DJ Devastate x Max I Million)
“I guess I never sign on the dotted line/ I guess I do it independent, bottom line.â€
– Baby Blak
Bam and damn! Bobby Blak is East Coast and them clowns are sweet rolls! Beware of the emcee when you walk by his yard: Lyricism with teeth!
Baby Blak lays down “The Bottom Line” with an array of murdering metaphors and concrete similes, backed by Sweden’s Elite Fleet members, DJ Devastate and Max I Million, on production.

Movin’ On Up: Maid Goes To Clean A House And Gets Something Truly Special When She Gets There (Video)
Aw man, go get the damn tissues… again… unlike earlier posts these will be tears of joy though.
This hardworking housekeeper is a single mother of three who has devoted all of her time to her job and family. She has been in and out of the hospital for exhaustion multiple times. We think it’s time she had a Break. We are once again Pranking It Forward. This family’s life is about to change.
So, Kara. Look. Looking fly in the new clothes. Already got a job, working hard. All that plus… House already paid for?? Good strong sista. Think we can leave your sis at home and go see some pyramids on that vacation? Just asking…
Just kidding. Unless you gone do it.
Dres – “Propagation” (Video)
“You’ll never hear of Black cops that beat and murder white boys.”
– Dres
To even conceptualize a father to son convo as a theme for a video is dope. Videos with family, passing on wisdom and love at the center have no doubt been a part of Hip-Hop’s nobler self; but few with as timely a message to share. Need this. After the sadness and frustration felt when Killer Mike told us he was kicked on his ass and feared for his sons’ lives in the wake of the Ferguson (Missouri, USA) Grand Jury announcement – America’s injustice system at its finest – here is Dres (of Black Sheep) passing on powerful words that his son needs to hear to make his way in this country (world). “Propagation” of positivity – father to son, Dres to you, Hip-Hop to us all.
Thank you, D-R-E-S. This is Hip-Hop.
How To Remotely Unlock Your Car Using Your Brain (Video)
Might be the coolest vid you watch today. Like a ‘Mr. Wizard’ (or ‘MythBusters’ for you young’ns) clip… on steroids! Sooo… Dr. Jean Grey (of the X-Men) has a head full of water. Well, so do you (sorta). And while starting a stalled stealth jet might be easy for the ‘mutant’ powers in her head, physicist Roger Bowley shows you how you can unlock a key using that powerful thing inside yours. He heard mention of this on BBC Television’s show Top Gear, but couldn’t believe it. Only one thing he could do.
The only way to find out if something is true is to do the damned experiment… disprove your prejudices.
– Roger Bowley
Ain’t that something. Science meets social commentary. One clip; boiled down to one poignant statement. Told you it’d be cool. Watch, learn, and enjoy doing so.
Phat Kat aka Ronnie Euro – “All Madden” feat. Elzhi x Guilty Simpson (Prod. By Agor) [Video]
Y’all can’t see me when I blackout, even with night vision…
Talkin’ about having the game sown, running thangs, going hard, being an all-star player… all these street euphemisms and no one comes up with “All Madden”… until now. Respect to Ronnie Euro. Respect to Elzhi and Guilty Simpson.
Atlanta based emcee ‘Phene’ Speaks ‘Revelations 717’ on ‘Sway In The Morning’ show on Sirius XM (Audio)
Atlanta based emcee (via York, Pa), Phene, promotes his new project ‘Revelations 717’ on the ‘Sway In The Morning’ show on Sirius XM radio. It was dope to also hear former Atlanta based emcee Lyric Jones call-in to the show to show love as well. Looks like Sway & Heather B are going to ‘Put Him In The Game’ by putting tracks off his new album on rotation on Eminem’s SHADE 45 Sirius XM channel.
Yo! Our #GetInTheGame Artist today @phene was so impressive today that the program director of #Shade45 came in the studio to inquire!

De La Soul featuring Chuck D – “The People”
“The idea for the song came from a couple of samples, and the track’s vibe is earnest and has a pressing tone to it. The lyrics are commentaries of our struggles and successes, our weaknesses and strengths… the experiences… and trials and tribulations we have faced as human beings, a race, and as individuals. Lyrically Chuck brings a sense of authority and urgency. The power in his voice demands your attention. With Chuck on the track this is a dream come true for us.
Originally “The People†was suppose to drop in June around the same time the Chuck D/Hot 97/Peter Rosenberg situation took place. We chose to hold off and not add fuel to any fires. Our next aim was for a Black Friday release. Coincidentally the Ferguson tragedy took place, and more recently the non-indictment verdict. Somehow this song was destined to be a part of something more than just dropping a joint. We hope it will lend itself to something positive in these difficult times.” – De La Soul
Dave East feat. Tyler Woods – “Dope”
Harlem’s (New York, USA) Dave East calls North Carolina’s Tyler Woods’ number for the audibles on the track; with producer Blacksaun running that like a 40 in 4.3 seconds flat! The title – “Dope” (’cause it’s dope).

#89Blocks: A Film By Goldie Taylor (Trailer)
#89BLOCKS (formerly called “The Other Side of Grace” is a feature length documentary on the rise and decline of an American city, the resilience of its people, and a football team that refuses to quit. Producer and veteran journalist Goldie Taylor takes us back to her hometown of East St. Louis, Illinois – the most dangerous city in nation (according to the FBI) — where legends are born and sometimes die.
This is the latest trailer for a movie that is still in the works. More funding is needed to complete it. Watch the trailer, and if you are moved to donate to the cause, here is the link:
Killer Mike Overwhelmed with Emotion Following the Ferguson Grand Jury Statement In St. Louis (Video)
Riots are only the language of the unheard.
– Killer Mike
Killer Kill from Adamsville gets it: The sentiments expressed so perfectly by Jay Smooth (posted on earlier here) are revisited so emotionally by Hip-Hop’s proud son, Killer Mike. In St. Louis (Missouri, USA) with his homie El-P to rock a Run The Jewels set, he heard the news out of Ferguson, Missouri [that no action will be taken against the officer that killed Mike Brown] – and like many on the scene – it rubbed him so raw he was hurt, was scared, was angry, was feeling retaliatory (ready to burn something down)… BUT… Mike hugged it out, cried it out, talked it out, got on stage and let it out. AND TORE THAT M#THERF#CKER DOWN!!!
Tonight I got kicked on my ass… You m#therf#ckers got me today. I have a 20 year son. I have a 12 year old son. And I am so afraid for them… These m#therf#ckers got me today. But with that said, you m#therf#ckers will not own tomorrow!
– Killer Mike
Watch the video-taped confessional turn into a high-energy Hip-Hop Revival up in the spot. Revolution energy being channeled. Prepare before you press play; a tissue for one hand… while balling the other into a fist and raising it in solidarity.
This is Hip-Hop. GO!

PRhyme (DJ Premier x Royce da 5’9) – “Courtesy” (Video)
Let it go, Preem…
– Royce da 5’9
And that’s just what Royce did over the banging Premier track on this full clip visual. The boom, the bap, the beat and the rap. Representing real Hip-Hop. “Courtesy” of PRhyme (DJ Premier & Royce da 5’9). The forthcoming self-titled LP is available for pre-order now (so no need to wait until December 9, 2014; hit the link).
