Bruse Wane – “Keepers Of The Flame” feat. Chris Rivers

Welcome to the jungle… welcome to the swamp!

And the defenders of it all are none other than this almost Marvel-DC duo. Killer combo doing a killer collabo!

TheBatMan and the “Son Of The Punisher” joins forces once again. The last time Bruse Wane and Chris Rivers got on a track together it was to spit Venom along side the late great Sean Price. The lyrical tandem have finally re-united on the hard hitting track “Keepers Of The Flame” (South Bronx 2.0). Bruse and Chris go for the jugular on this one, as the Bronx emcees remind you that their Borough is thoro!

Black Lightning (First Look Series Trailer)

If you remember the B-rate “Black Vulcan” hero from the old, old Superfriends cartoon that used to come on in, like, the 1970s and 1980s… Don’t worry, this is NOT that. Not much cheese being teased in this DC series trailer. At all! Way to go DC. Looks like you folks are learning what Marvel / Netflix has to teach you about making small screen storytelling. Now, if the TV folks (esp. the producers of The Flash and Arrow) could pass some notes to the DC movie makers. Shot.

In fact, I wil go ahead as say it before you do: This trailer for DC’s newest forthcoming hero series – “Black Lightning” – looks and feels a LOT like some LukeCage-meets-Daredevil ‘ish. No shot, just saying.

(Oh, on that shot at DC movies, the first two ‘Superman’ movies were good (RIP Christopher Reeve), Michael Keaton ‘Batman’ vs. Jack Nicholson ‘Joker’ was groundbreaking, and ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy was dope. Respect due. Just that recent ‘Superman vs. Batman’ and ‘Suicide Squad’… at best, on a scale of wack to dope, they score a solid meeeehhh. Solid, but meh).

Dunkirk (Trailer)

Christopher Nolan has some award-winning movies in the theatrical trophy case already – “Interstellar,” “Inception,” “The Dark Knight” Trilogy. But this “Dunkirk” is looking EPIC! And we will get a look at it in theaters July 21, 2017. To whet appetites for the war film, Warner Bros. dropped off this trailer. Bet money this won’t be your run-of-the-mill war period piece. Believe that!

Interstellar (Trailer)

Murphy’s Law doesn’t mean something bad will happen. It means whatever can happen will happen.

A sci-fi movie trailer teased by the man who brought The Dark Knight (Christopher Nolan) himself, at a Comic Con that had already teased a new  ‘Batman’ in a movie… yeah, that happened. But this November. Woooo! “Interstellar” travel will be here (in theaters)! The trailer is awesome. The casting looks spot on to tell the epic tale it teases. Prediction: Extreme dopeness ahead! Had to load this post with so many snaps after the jump. So much visual excellence. Watch above.

Man Builds A Real Live Bat Cave (Video)

Batman fanatic Chris Weir has built himself a real-life Bat Cave in his basement, dropping more than $120,000 US (£78,000) on his home project and Batman-related interests. Suffice it to say, Weir is obsessed with Batman the Dark Knight. Batman comic books, action figures, and TV and movie posters and other paraphernalia. Kinda cool that his wife (Joanna) is on board… as long as the bills get paid.

While the Wayne Manor version might put more emphasis on the Bat Crime Lab, Weir’s features a home cinema inside the Bat Cave with a 100-inch TV screen where he watches Batman movies, shows and cartoons with his wife and young sons Zachary and Daniel.

“I wanted the room to look like something Batman himself would operate in, but its all for entertainment purposes,” Weir comments.

Weir’s infatuation with Batman began at age three when he played Batman and Robin in his yard with his uncle. Now 38, this grown man can do whatever the hell he wants… and he wants to play Batman with his fam.

Enjoy the video above. Interesting.

The Amazing Spider-Man (Trailer)

I enjoyed the previous Spider Man films starring Tobey Maguire that hit the big screen a few years back so when I initially heard that filmmakers were going to redo the series in theaters so soon I sort of groaned aloud thinking it’s probably gonna be wack. I’m having a change of heart watching these previews for “The Amazing Spider-Man” because it feels like the creators are simply revisiting the formula that was used to reboot DC Comic’s Batman films. The initial Batman films were very “comicbook-like” in nature while the most recent ones like “Batman Begins” & “The Dark Knight” have been darker & more adult in it’s approach. I believe that’s the plan for The Amazing Spider-Man when it hits theaters this summer….

Christian Bale Stars In “Hostiles” (Trailer)

I’ve killed everything that’s walked or crawled. If you do it enough, you get used to it.

Daaayum! The eeriness of dialogue like that, plus the music in this teaser trailer, suggests a hardcore coldness about this movie… regardless of how hot the desert looks or how hot-blooded the fights. This ain’t no regular cowboys-n-injuns flick; more like tensions between Native Americans and uniformed oppressors pushed past the snapping point.

Looks like Christian Bale found a gritty post-Dark Knight role.

Were There Really “Samurai Headhunters?” (Researchers Say Yes) [Documentary Trailer]

Knights of the Far East, we see the Samurai as honorable protectors of their traditions, their ordained rulers, and the people of Japan. But… that’s how we SEE them. Now let’s look at the whole TRUTH; at least an alternative powerfully put forth by this documentary – “Samurai Headhunters.”

Noble swordsman? Ruthless head collector? The Samurai were both. The drama documentary charting the unknown, dark side of these ancient Japanese warriors by recreating the life of a young farmer forced into their army. Since their first appearance in the 8th century, Japan’s famous elite warriors are celebrated for their courage, formidable fighting techniques and above all, their code of honour. But do these Far Eastern knights really measure up to their heroic image? Now, for the first time, we reveal the unknown dark side of the Samurai – a fascinating tale of forbidden love, extreme cruelty, and treachery.
