The thrust of the story being told is the hustle – rappers trying to get on, strippers taking their clothes off. Woooo! The ‘skrippers’ get azzhole naked in Magic City. Watch for for your nasty side for sure; BUT take away the butt naked truth While many rappers haves being shared in here, too. Rappers visit and hound DJs but very few get to have their tracks played to have the strippers shake to (and hopefully convince radio insiders to give a couple a spins). And the strippers ARE NOT TRYING TO GO HOME WITH YOU…but for $10,000 they will make you think they are. His list is very interesting because I’d have to agree with about 90% of what he said except the food part because I rarely order food at strip clubs. I found it funny he put Follies at number one because I find myself in Follies more often than any other spot in the city lately. Me & some friends used to go to Follies alot before most people even really knew about it, but things have changed in 2014.

I have many friends who have worked or are currently employed at strip clubs in Atlanta from bartenders, bouncers, DJs, & dancers. I’ve traveled all over the world & for as long as I’ve actually lived in Atlanta I’ve always considered this city to be the strip club capital of the world. Even when friends or associates of mine visit, one of their priorities while in Atlanta is to go to a strip club. Most of us who live here are already familiar with strip club culture in Atlanta than any mini-documentary could cover in 30 minutes, but VICE’s London based music journalist Jo Fuertes-Knight tries to do just that. The mini-documentary doesn’t cover any new ground for residents of Atlanta, but they do manage to stop by just a few of the popular spots like Magic City, Diamonds Of Atlanta, Kamal’s 21, & the legendary Clermont Lounge. Atlanta is truly the strip club capital of the world when I think of all the spots that VICE didn’t cover in this report. It would have been cool if they had the opportunity to visit other spots around Atlanta as well like Onyx, Stiletto’s, Strokers, Blue Flame, Pin-Ups, Goosebumps, Club Blaze, Follies, Shooter’s Alley, & several others just to name a few. Yes…after just typing this list of spots it’s clear that Atlanta truly is the strip club capital of the world if not for the sheer number of strip clubs per capita around the city.

Their roadshow gone Gonzo – called Every Woman – has them traveling, living and working in different women’s jobs and documenting the experience. Makes for interesting viewing, especially this episode which details their time as strippers at a truck-stop.
Everyone knows what charming places strip clubs can be, but perhaps there is no club so charming as one in Moriarty, New Mexico—a truck stop with taxidermy and the bras of former employees on the walls, a few poles, a shitload of black light, and plenty of titties. Never mind that The Ultimate Strip Club List website describes it as the place “where strippers go to die.â€

Heather Hunter has enjoyed successful careers in both the film and music industries, and she revealed that while many people would think it would be taboo to come from the industry to music, she got nothing but love. Heather explained that she always had a closeness with the Hip-Hop industry after growing up in the Bronx and frequenting Latin Quarter, one of the first clubs in NYC to play Hip-Hop. Heather added that she was able to work with some big names, including Scott Storch, Timbaland, Uncle Luke, and Akinyele, who mentored her at the beginning of her music career.
During the conversation, Heather also spoke about getting her start in her career after being discovered in the strip club when she was eighteen, after starting in the club just a couple of years earlier when she left home. She added that just one year after being in the business she started working for Vivid as a contract girl, which Heather admitted opened up a lot of opportunities. T-Pain Tells Snoop Why He Let The Locks Go (Video)

Whoa! T-Pain cut off all the dreadlocks. But why? Well, the way he tells it to Snoop on GGN, fatherhood threw him off balance for a bit. Getting a career white hot, balling out of control, grinding for more while he’s got the spotlight, then came family… It got to be too much…not even fun for him. Can’t have So he stepped back. Had to let some things go; some things that were hard to let go.
“It was just some things I had trouble letting go of in my life, so I figured if I can let go of the hair, I can let go of anything.”
So it began with the hair. And it looks like Pain (formerly DJ Pain, always something on which to fall back in Jacksonville) is getting it back together; back into the music. Wonder if that battle with the strip club addiction is on-going (EXPENSIVE habit, we posted on that here).
