BIO: Ricardo Torres (left), better known by his stage name Big Flip Papi is a Hip-Hop artist coming from Brooklyn, New York. In 2010, he began to receive recognition under his former stage name RNR. His records “Get Loose On Em’” Featuring Papoose and “Girl U Got That Comeback,” started getting played on Hot 97 by DJ Kay Slay and on Power 105 by DJ Suss One. His mixtape titled, “The Official Mixtape of RNR” hosted by DJ RobERob received exposure on Worldstar Hip-Hop, HotNewHipHop, and Datpiff to name a few.

Torres ran into issues with the law when he was accused of a role in a drug conspiracy, in mid-2011. He was sentenced to 4 to 9 years in New York State prisons but blessed to only have served 6 years. His arrest made newspapers soon coining him the handle, Big Flip Papi. Upon his release in 2017, Torres released “The Reckoning” which reunited him with DJ RobErob for another mixtape project. The Reckoning Mixtape has notable features like French Montana, Uncle Murda, Nipsey Hustle, Papoose, Jaz-O, Kool G Rap and many others. Big Flip Papi has worked with many industry names like Jack Thriller, who quote on quote said, “Big Flip Papi had one of the most memorable interviews on the Show”.
