Our homie Focus… is back at it again! Well, we know he never left. The Grammy-winning Producer and emcee has released a second single – “Clouds” (featuring J. Pinder and Rapper Big Pooh) from his forthcoming EP “Focal Point 1172” (due out August 7, 2012). We posted the first single – “Autumn” – here a while back. The EP is gonna be a monster! Moreover, homie is gonna be ON for a looong while. Just peep the kind of career Focus… is going for:
“Unlike every other producer, I don’t want them to listen to a track and be like, ‘That’s Focus…!’ I want them to look at the credits and go, ‘Damn, that’s Focus…?’ It keeps you alive longer. Once you get pigeonholed and you can’t make something outside of yourself, it’s really hard to reinvent yourself. I reinvent myself as much as I can. It gives the listener something different to listen to, but it’s from the same cat.”
