Baltimore emcee Substantial has fought off the threat of cancer with preventive surgery, work, and love. Showing love to Jill Scott while he was laid up recovering, worked up a tribute album to one of his biggest influences, Jill Scott. The result is “Jackin’ Jill†– a tribute project from built by “Jackin†music from various Jill Scott releases.
