My homie Fudge occasionally puts me up on artists from time to time but usually I’m at least aware of most of the cats he believes are worthy of checking out. This time around he sent me this video of Toronto artist Rich Kidd. I’m usually up on the majority of artists making moves around the country, but I have to admit I wasn’t too familiar with Rich Kidd because most of his moves were largely being made behind the scenes in his native Canada & abroad. Through some further investigation I discovered that Rich Kidd wasn’t just an emcee, but is a multi-talented producer, rapper, song-writer, & video director who has worked with the likes of Drake, Nelly Furtado, Busta Rhymes, M.O.P., & many others within the last few years. As a radio show host I also like the fact that he provided a clean & dirty version of the audio to this joint which shows to me that this guy is definitely on point about his business.
