iSHE’ is the essence of 70’s sexy (think Foxxy Brown with a heavy dash of gangster). Her particular brand of soul comes through on this track, entitled “Eye See You.” Her smooth voice delivering those not-to-be-messed-with lyrics over Willie Mitchell’s horns is kind of hot. Okay, VERY hot. Listen and love it!

Nice Herbie Hancock inspired & almost off beat/on beat joint produced by Rochester New York producer & emcee Hassaan Mackey. When he’s not out on tour with Maryland producer Kev Brown or crafting joints with his Detroit partner Apollo Brown as 1/2 of Daily Bread, he’s creating joints like these off of a brand new MPC he says he recently purchased. To make this jawn complete he reached out to San Diego’s own Ishe’ via twitter to bless the track vocally. It’s dope how social media can afford artists to collaborate with each other significantly easier…

Ishe & Hezekiah’s musical offering, The Ishe + Hezekiah Project, was a soulfully solid album that dropped last June. A key song I still keep on repeat every now & then is their joint “Pressure” that I believe was their lead single before the album was released. In this interview for The New Content they speak on how they met considering he’s also an emcee from Philly & she’s a vocalist repping for San Diego. This is nice right here from Ishe + Hezekiah’s collaborative Project…..Hezekiah is the same soulful Philly emcee & producer many of you may already be familiar with who’s linked up with the San Diego songbird Ishe for this dope experimental soul album that’s out now. This is just one of the standout singles. Soulful vibes right here…..don’t succumb to the ‘Pressure’ to avoid this gem right here. Check this joint out….
