Shaheed (aka “The Scholar Warrior MC”) and DJ Supreme (who hosts The Classic Hip-Hop Show on Birmingham FM station Hot 107.7) are popular at nightclubs and festivals across the southeast United States. With five years in as a duo, they have always focused their musical efforts on “Knowledge, Rhythm, and Understanding” – which is fitting because they are now at Birmingham’s Communicating Vessels label working on an album with that very title.
