DC-based singer Deborah (pronounced Deb-BOR-ah) Bond declares that she channels Anita baker, Chaka Khan, and Sade for her brand of R&B-Funk-British Soul. It’s dope. Having put out two prior LPs, she (with production team/band Third Logic) is banking on the third time being the charm. Well, Deborah is doing the work. She got Nicolay to remix “Say It” – which originally appeared on the most recent full-length release, “Madam Palidrome” – and it is hot joint; sure to lengthen this album’s run.
