While in Chicago for a live performance, R&B singer & songwriter Jhene’ Aiko was interviewed for the “Step Into The Black Music Series” sponsored by Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum & The Fader that I spotted at ThisIsRNB. Jhene’ Aiko speaks on her upcoming album “Souled Out”, being influenced by 90s R&B, touring in her early years, & how her sound is very personal because she writes her own music.
