Rapsody is the protégé of Grammy-Award winning producer 9th Wonder and one of the first artists signed to his Jamla Records/It’s A Wonderful World Music Group. While she is currently on tour with 9th Wonder and Phonte, preparations for her album release (on August 28, 2012) move forward. Rapsody’s debut LP, “The Idea Of Beautiful,” takes a deeper look at the many connotations that the word “beautiful” evokes in our society and the lengths we go to embody those traits. The album is sure to be a solid piece of work, drawing on the proven emceeing skills of Rapsody, production from 9th Wonder and Khrysis and artists of high Hip-Hop pedigree who feature on the LP like Phonte, Mac Miller, Raekwon, Ab-Soul, and Raheem Devaughn.
