Yeah. Another banger! Gritty, like this visual. Hope you like “Anchovies.” Eff that, you are LOVING the LP if you are a Hip-Hop head. As for the bug-looking, fishy, salty pizza topping… well, some like it, some don’t.
The new album “Anchovies.” from Detroit’s Apollo Brown and Fresno’s Planet Asia isn’t for everybody. It’s lo-fi, nasty, and minimalist to the extreme. But for some, it’s absolutely perfect. Stripped down to accentuate Asia’s bars, Apollo Brown lays a gorgeous backdrop for gutter tales.
