Focus… is grossly underrated as a producer & artist. It should literally be a crime how much is talent is overlooked. I’m dead ass serious. I seriously doubt Focus’s music could be ‘Misinterpreted’ with a good ear for music. I don’t think it’s ‘Misinterpreted’ moreso than he’s largely not in the spotlight as much as those with far less talent who are always clamoring for camera time. In the long run & on the road to legendary status it’s really about quality music & Focus doesn’t disappoint with this new free album ‘Music Of The Misinterpreted’. Focus dropped a few tracks prior to releasing the album that we posted earlier, but now you can cop the full album here. Listen & download this bangin’ album & be sure to tell the ‘Misinformed’. Not only is Focus… producing on this new joint right here, but he’s also rhyming well alongside Sha Stimuli with relative ease. Unlike most artists in the game, Focus… is always smart & meticulous enough to include a dirty & clean versions so that the DJs who can support on the radio can get right to it.

Focus dropped this ‘Idols & Role Models’ joint just a few days ago with Kida as the sole emcee on it, but this other version came along & he didn’t want to call it ‘Idols & Role Models Remix’ so he decided to call it ‘Perspective #2’. Either way it’s still dope….maybe if I get the time I’ll do an edit with Kida, Rapper Big Pooh, & Chaundon all together for convenience when I play this joint on the radio. Damn! The homies did it again! Focus.. & Kida link up with a quality joint with some food for thought! This is just uncut dope! Played it about 5 times in a row after I heard it……This song could also qualify as gospel hip hop because they straight takin’ us to chuuch on this one. Niiiice!

The song is an appetizer before Kida’s upcoming project the “Redshirt Freshman” that drops in a few months. My homie ‘Focus…’ dropped his album ‘The Avant Garde Project’ in May of last year. Recently he dropped this ‘Special Edition’ Mixtape, but I’m not exactly sure what changes if any were made to it. Either way its still a dope ass project. My personal favorite song from this album is ‘The Vow’ on that R&B soul vibe. An extremely talented individual, Focus is arguably one of the illest producers that I know in the game. This project fully illustrates that ‘Focus…’ is more than just a hip hop producer having crafted soundscapes in a wide variety of musical genres. The Avant Garde Project touches upon his ability to weave in & out of those genres rather seamlessly. Some producers just make beats, but ‘Focus’ can do it all from pop, rock, country, soul, & even latin. As a matter of fact Focus has won a Grammy in the Latin category.
