Dear label execs: Do not come at East with the wack-azz quarter-mill advance deal. That’s no money. Plus, he doesn’t know you to “trust you” like that (e.g. don’t feed him the “we can renegotiate” line either).
Besides, Dave doesn’t need the money or the trappings of wealth. What he NEEDS is to know the answer to his question: Who “Really Wit Me” (what we all really need to know for real)?
