Paramount Network’s New Series “Yellowstone” Starring Kevin Costner (Trailer)

Wow. This looks like “Scandal” met “Bonanza” at a bar and left the baby on Kevin Costner’s doorstep nine months later. I’m banking on Costner bringing in that basket and making this series a “Dances With Wolves” meets “The Bodyguard” experience. But can Costner comfortably squeeze his big screen background into a powerful concentrate and pour that essence into a small screen vessel like this? Because if so, this ought to be better than I anticipate.

Academy Award Winner Kevin Costner stars in ‘Yellowstone,’ an original television series following the violent world of the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in the United States. ‘Yellowstone,’ from Taylor Sheridan, the writer of ‘Hell or High Water’ and ‘Sicario,’ also features Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, and Cole Hauser. Premieres June 20th 9/8c on Paramount Network.

‘Yellowstone’ is a drama series that follows the Dutton family, led by patriarch John Dutton. The Duttons control the largest contiguous ranch in the U.S. and must contend with constant attacks by land developers, clashes with an Indian reservation and conflict with America’s first national park.

The Hurt Business (Documentary Trailer)

From the producers of Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11 and Generation Iron, THE HURT BUSINESS details the lives of various martial arts superstars, including Ronda Rousey and Jon Jones, competing in the fastest growing sport in the world and the struggles and triumphs that accompany all careers in cage fighting.

Besides featuring both legends, such as Georges St-Pierre, and up-and-comers in the sport the film covers the history of mixed martial arts fighting, from the coliseums of ancient Greece to modern day venues such as the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, all expertly narrated by Kevin Costner.

Themes of injury both mental and physical are explored and the question is raised; is it worth it to sacrifice one’s mind and body for sport?
