“Sonic The Hedgehog” Goes From Gaming Monitors To Movie Theaters (Vibe)

Two things you know are gonna be good in this: (1) the “Sonic The Hedgehog” CGI and (2) Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik!
“Sonic The Hedgehog” is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

Okay, stop me if you’ve heard this one: Furious Styles & O-Dog started up this podcast years after… Nope! You could NOT have heard of it. They (Lawrence Fishburne & Larenz Tate) are just really getting started with it.
Bronzeville is a scripted (audio only) drama executive produced by and starring Laurence Fishburne and Larenz Tate, set to premiere on multiple digital audio platforms Tuesday February 7th 2017.

Before they were the Prez and First Lady… before they were perhaps one of the world’s most adorable couples… there had to be a first date. This is that story.
Inspired by Barack and Michelle Obama’s first date, “Southside With You,” recounts the eventful summer day in 1989 when a young law firm associate named Barack Obama (Parker Sawyers) tried to woo lawyer Michelle Robinson (Tika Sumpter) during a daylong date that took them from the Art Institute of Chicago to a screening of Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing” to the site of their first kiss outside of an ice cream parlor.
