Watch The Red Band Teaser For “Sorry To Bother You” (Trailer) [NSFW]

Well, damn. ‘Weaponized hilarity’ for a film about telemarketing though? Okay. The jury was kinda out with us on this flick, but Lakeith Stanfield gets a nod for his work in “Atlanta” to be certain. He and Zazie are on to other screens with their careers since their Fx breakthrough. Good looks!

“Sorry to Bother You” is a 2018 American science fiction comedy film written and directed by Boots Riley, in his directorial debut. It stars Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Jermaine Fowler, Omari Hardwick, Terry Crews, Patton Oswalt, David Cross, Danny Glover, Steven Yeun, and Armie Hammer. Set in Oakland, California, the film follows a young African-American telemarketer who adapts a White accent in order to thrive at his job.

The film showed at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2018. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 6, 2018, by Annapurna Pictures.

Okay, get ready for the why-can’t-you-just-let-it-go rhetoric… OR… the quiet silence/avoidance of some folks who are not ready to ‘read’ the pages left out of the history books. The Lone Ranger (Movie Trailer)

In theaters July 3, 2013, Disney Pictures has remade a classic: “The Lone Ranger.” Okay, so we got the Tonto character with top billing. Oookaayyy. So, who’s playing Tonto? Johnny Depp. Yep. It’s okay. He’s a Honorary Comanche Tribe Member, so it’s cool, right?

Moving on…

‘From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.’

Check out the U.S. trailer above and an International trailer after the jump. Lots of running, jumping, hollering and explosions… mixed in with some laughs. Gotta love that about Bruckheimer Films.
