Oakland group Souls of Mischief is the invited guest on this episode of NPR’s Microphone Check. The emcees speak to Adrian Younge, producer of Souls’ recently-released LP – “There Is Only Now” (which Mic Check co-host Ali Shaheed Muhammad, of A Tribe Called Quest, narrates. Great conversation, memories and insights shared by three Souls members (Tajai, Phesto and Opio) with Younge, Ali and Mic Check co-host Frannie Kelley.
