New Year’s… on these occasions we usually look back and look forward at the same time. How about we do something like that here: As we boldly go into 2018, let’s take a look at how far we have boldly gone, into space as a human race, already.

2017 marks the 60th anniversary of the launch of Sputnik, the first satellite to orbit Earth. In those 60 years, we’ve gone much further, reaching new planets and even the edge of the solar system. Watch as the human race explores the galaxy around us.
