Wonder if CBS knew what they were getting into when it brought the Colbert brand aboard for its late night TV fight with the likes of Kimmel and Fallon on the other major networks. Coming from Comedy Central, everyone knew Stephen could bring the funny; but CBS had to know that The Colbert Report was a tongue-in-cheek faux-Conservative platform to bring light to progressive figures (like McKesson) and issues of the day. Stephen has not been one to sacrifice enlightenment totally for the sake of entertainment so far; and for that we give him mad kudos. Keep it pushing, Colbert.
