Poo Bear – “Hard 2 Face Reality” feat. Justin Bieber x Jay Electronica
Hmmm… “Poo Bear Presents: Birthday Music” huh? Might not have given it a second thought, but that’s probably why artists drop singles. This “Hard 2 Face Reality” brought in Jay Electronica AND Justin Bieber?? On the same track?? Poo Bear covered the whole gamut of music out here in these streets and suburbs with that lineup, right? Undeniable Pop and Hip-Hop on a pretty cool track. Check it.
U-God – “Epicenter” feat. Inspectah Deck x Raekwon x Jackpot Scotty Wotty (Video)
Did your mind run right to that Kurupt line from “Tru Master” when you saw the title? I’m the “Epicenter” of this natural disaster… Maybe now?
Well, Inspectah Deck rocked in that. And he’s on this one with Raekwon to rep Wu and get their Clan fam U-God’s back on a pretty solid track. Shout to Jackpot Scotty Wotty in there, too. Visuals for “Epicenter” off the “Venom” solo effort from U-God.
Snoop Dogg – “One More Day” feat. Charlie Wilson (Video)
Snoop’s “Bible Of Love” jawn “One More Day” has been a good look for the charts, for ‘Uncle’ Charlie Wilson, and for gospel fans across the Interwebs. Stop. Look. Listen. Get fed y’all.
Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley – “Living It Up” (Video)
Hmm… that “Stony Hill” album though. Kinda of snuck by us. My bad. Even though I don’t check for riddims like I should, I’m supposed to catch the new-new good-good. Apology accepted? Good! Now, enjoy the sounds of them one dem call Jr. Gong!
Jean Grae x Quelle Chris – “Everything’s Fine” (Album)
Mad eclectic from the start if you are into that… And when you get to the “House Call” jawn (featuring Big Tone, Anna Wise, and Jonathan Hoard), the dope is bricked into some BARZ! Something for everyone on this project, including some interesting quest appearance choices. Check it!
Roc Marciano – “The Sauce & Corniche” feat. Action Bronson (Video)
Roc Marci dopped that “RR2” project a while ago, then this jawn with Action Bron for the good promo and provo measure.

A Tribe Called Quest – “The Space Program” (Video)
Feeling kinda melancholy about it all, but it’s time to call it a wrap for the 20-year comeback. Going out with a bang(er) though. Check out the last visual/single off the last ATCQ album (“We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service”)… This is for “The Space Program.”

H.E.R. – “Focus” (Video)
Well, well. Ms. Gabi Wilson, we see (and hear) ya. New music from H.E.R. And don’t worry, if ‘him’ don’t “Focus” on H.E.R. there are plenty of dudes out here who will (because HOT)! This jawn is off the “Volume 1” album so to speak. Linked below.
Sango – “Khlorine” feat. Smino (Video)
From Sango’s “In the Comfort Of” album… more chill music. But this has a bit of bop to it courtesy of guest lyricism by Smino. Check out “Khlorine.”
SZA – “Broken Clocks” (Video)
Besides “sexy”… the word to describe this vid is “ohhhhhhh!” It all makes sense by the end; the very end. Now, you do get the benefit of seeing SZA singing sultrily and slinking around to the beat throughout the jawn; getting her ‘summer camp sensual’ on. But the TWIST ending… Watch.

Jhené Aiko – “Never Call Me” feat. Kurupt (Slauson Hills Edition) [Video]

(Watch for cameos from Nipsey Hussle and more.)
Jhené Aiko – “Never Call Me” feat. Kurupt (Video)

PRhyme (DJ Premier x Royce Da 5’9) – “Flirt†feat. 2 Chainz [Live On ‘The Tonight Show’] (Video)
Dope closer to Fallon’s show the other night. Preemo, Royce Da 5’9 and 2 Chainz doing the damn thing… letting the ladies know that they don’t know how to “Flirt.” Banger of a song (we posted here earlier) off “PRhyme 2.”

Dynasty – “One Day” (Prod. By Apollo Brown) [Video]
Fresh back from the overseas tour run, and looking so fresh at @IconicShoots on the ‘Gram and other social media (mercy, merci, thank you, Dy). Can I get y’all to put one in the air for the lovely lyricist Dynasty? Look how our ray of sunshine is already woke, warmed up and doing work over some strong Apollo Brown production. This is for “One Day.”

MURS – “The Unimaginable” feat. Robots&Balloons (Video)
Not one time did I laugh at Tyrese’s tears, ’cause when I was separated from my son I cried every day for almost a year…
– Murs
Honest introspection laid bare for us all to see. Bold step for an intro to an album. Check out visuals for the first step of “A Strange Journey Into the Unimaginable” (out now).
Stik Figa – “Down Payment” feat. Elzhi (Prod. By Nottz) [Video]
Yooooo! Lookit what I found digging around the inbox. Can’t believe the dopeness the Interwebs just leaves lying around. This vid is for the single from the album “Central Standard Time” by Stik Figa. Recognize eLZhi on the feature. Recognize the beat work of super-producer Nottz. Respect!
Shot on location in Stik Figa’s native central Topeka, Kansas. The video and song for ‘Down Payment’ introduce listeners to the many sides of Stik Figa as it relates to his earning a living. Hard work isn’t glamorous, but somebody gotta do it!
