He’s 1/2 of the 1978ers, 1/3 of the critically acclaimed group Diamond District, D.C. lyricist “yU” links up with arguably one of Virginia’s illest producer Nottz! Whenever I see Nottz’ name on something I know he’s going to be killin’ it with the boom-blappers! yU does the damn thing with the appropriate subject matter & A+ lyricism to match the track as well. This joint is straight MURDA! But in a good way. Be on the lookout for Mellow Music Group’s upcoming compilation that this song appears on called “Persona” due March 10th.
