North Carolina emcee & part-time comedian Phonte drops a brand new video directed by Kenneth Price for “Eternally” off of his really dope ‘Charity Starts At Home’ album that’s out now. The video is perfect timing & product placement coinciding with the red vinyl release of his ‘Charity Starts At Home’ album on FE Official. Of course for the video he brings along his fellow NC emcee Median for the ride as they go door to door pushing the importance of Phonte’s ‘Charity Starts At Home’ movement…..

9th Wonder let loose the first single plus a few other remixed gems from his upcoming album The Wonder Year that’s due to drop September 27th. Band Practice Part 1 features his former Little Brother bandmate & Foreign Exchange frontman Phonte alonside their homie DJ Flash while “Band Practice Part 2” features their long lost NC homie Median. Many people may not be aware that Median was supposed to be the original third member of what later became the group Little Brother before Rapper Big Pooh stepped in. 9th Wonder “the producer” transforms into 9thmatic “the emcee” on the bonus remix of his ‘Make It Big’ single that dropped earlier in the year featuring his fellow Winston-Salem patna Big Remo. Median is a very dope MC from NC who after a hiatus is back with longtime friends Phonte and 9th Wonder to bring a new project to the people. The album drops August 16th. I was hoping to see more Foreign Exchange production credits but I’m sure The Soul Council will provide some dope beats along with folks like Kev Brown and S1, it should be a dope album which drops under the Foreign Exchange imprint.

Median – “The Sender” (prod. by 9th Wonder)

Long time Justice League member Median is back. Median last released an album in 2007 and had been M.I.A. until a feature on Little Brother’s Leftback LP. Now he returns with a DOPE track produced by 9th Wonder as apart of his next release coming out under the Foreign Exchange label. Phonte and 9th are excutive producing the album set to release later this year.
