Not exactly sure to what extent & what the beef is about between Pusha T & his fellow Virginian Ambassador Rick, but dude didn’t waste much time after putting the Clipse brothas in his sights with the diss record before he followed up with this video. Despite it being a diss record aimed at Pusha T following his “Don’t F*ck With Me” freestyle, this “Fake Love” song comes off kinda dope. Now let’s get to the bottom of the he say she say shall we?

So apparently there is some tension between VA MCs Pusha T and the lesser known Ambassador Rick. Pusha T seemed to be dissing a lot of people in his Don’t F*Ck Wit Me” Freestyle. One of those is Ambassador Rick who fires back with this record.

When this song first dropped back in March I was worried that such a good song was gonna get lost in the never ending shuffle of music that gets released in the course of a year. I used to have this “Lovely” song on repeat in my itunes playlists & it’s good to see they didn’t just let this song die without a good video to breath new life into it.

This is one of my favorite songs from Pusha T’s ‘Fear Of God’ mixtape. Â ‘Open Your Eyes’ was also produced by ill ass beatsmith ‘Nottz’ & we’ve been running the song on the radio show for weeks since the mixtape dropped. Â Good to see that Pusha T decided to do a video for this one & tried to make it somewhat visually creative without spending a huge budget. Â This is the fourth video that has dropped for the mixtape. Smart moves in my opinion in this new fast paced era of music…….

Pusha T drops another video less than a week after the ‘My God’ joint dropped. The last video was featuring Dollicia Bryant, but this time around Pusha T appears to have enlisted alotta ‘Beckys’ on his boat. I guess he’s ‘tasting the rainbow’ with the ladies in these clips. Can’t be mad at an equal opportunity playa playa. Hopefully he’ll keep more videos coming from the Fear Of God Mixtape.  I would personally like to see visuals for ‘Alone In Vegas’, ‘Touch It’ featuring Kanye West, & ‘Open Your Eyes’……

‘My God’ is the first video to drop from Pusha T’s mixtape ‘Fear Of God’ that dropped last month. Â The video features a cameo from video vixen & model Dollicia Bryant who’s seen whipping the Lambo while Pusha rides shotgun. Â The mixtape has quite a few bangers that I’ve been playing on the radio show so hopefully Pusha T doesn’t just stop here with the visuals. Â Especially considering he’s gonna drop ‘Fear Of God 2’ on June 21st.

Kanye West Headlines The Lollapalooza Tour In Chile (Video)

This is just another example of how I keep telling people that Kanye West is a bigger artist internationally than Jay-Z. I’ve travelled around the world enough to see it first hand in multiple countries. In this video above Kanye headlines a recent show for Lollapalooza down in South America with Pusha T in tow. The crowd is singing Kanye’s songs word for word down there in Chile & they don’t even speak english as their primary language. Anyone who’s travelled the world enough will tell you that around the globe the two biggest hip hop artists are Kanye West & Eminem. Both 50 Cent & Snoop Dogg would also edge out Jay-Z in terms of Global popularity. Jay-Z opened up for U2 in Australia a few months back & couldn’t even get the stadium a quarter full during his set. R&B/Soul: John West – ‘Lovely’ feat. Pusha T

One of my friends swears that I’ve seen John West perform while I was in L.A. on a visit but I can’t honestly remember. I gave her the ‘Oh ok’ acknowledgement, but I didn’t have much of a clue. I’ve seen a gazillion new artists perform in my lifetime. Apparently John West has been around for a while having been in rock bands & is now a solo artist signed to Island/Def Jam. I didn’t expect much when I came across this song in my email except for the fact that this song ‘Lovely’ was featuring Pusha T. I’m glad I checked this out because this joint is hot! John West seems like a mix between John Legend & Robin Thicke & I wouldn’t be surprised if the label was trying to push him into that ‘blue eyed soul’ lane. The positive side is John West doesn’t sound like anyone else in R&B/Soul today vocally speaking. This particular song reminds me of Kanye West’s ‘Heard Em Say’ from a musical perspective so I wonder if Yeezy had something to do with the collaboration in some way…..
