R&B/Soul: DJ Kemit – “Fortune Teller” feat. Eric Roberson (Video)

New video from the homie (and all around super-dope producer and deejay) DJ Kemit. It’s a soulful banger! Watch for the cool guest appearances. I know I saw DJ Rasta Root, DJ Salah Anase, and model/singer Linda Pearl in there. Nice. Equally as nice…the silky smooth assist from crooner Eric Roberson on this joint. Respect to director Jirard (of the Digibees) and producer Aishah Rashied Hyman on this one, too. The track “Fortune Teller” appears on DJ Kemit’s new album “Everlasting” that’s available now!

R&B/Soul: DJ Kemit – “Funky 8Ball” feat. Frank McComb

One of my favorite DJs in Atlanta & souful producer DJ Kemit continues to amaze me with his work. The homie just celebrated his birthday not too long ago with a big party here in Atlanta, but how did I miss this new joint called “Funky 8-Ball” featuring Frank McComb on the keys that he recently released?  Apparently the track will serve as a teaser of what’s to come from his upcoming album “Everlasting” due July 17th.  The title to Kemit’s upcoming album couldn’t be anymore appropriate because the brotha has been doing it all from touring, producing, & working with damn near every R&B artist with soul in some capacity for almost two decades. I’m gonna have to hit the homie up on his twitter to give him props for keeping the soul going….

Anthony David – ‘4Evermore’ feat. Algebra & Phonte (Video)

Somebody left ya man out of the celebration. Somebody needs to holla at me. Am I too hood to make a cameo in this video?! I love good soul music too man. Mannnnn I see plenty of my homies in the video but no Jayforce?! I could have gotten my two step on in the joint you haters! Haha! Seriously thou….big shout out to many of my people making cameos in the video for this dope song. My homegirl Jodine repping for who plays the role of Phonte’s love interest in the video, my homegirl Sabrina Rose of ‘Slick & Rose’, the homie Jamal Ahmad from 91.9 WCLK in Atlanta, & of course the big homie DJ Kemit who plays the wedding DJ & who just so happens to be the producer of the song. After the jump check out my homegirl Jodine doing some behind the scenes interviews about the making of the video. Congrats to all involved for a great song & great video…….It’s good music people!
