“The epic action of ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world. Major William Cage (Tom Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again. Jackie Chan has been making promo rounds. On The Arsenio Hall Show last night. Did you know that dude could sing? There’s much about Jackie Chan most people don’t know including the fact that Jackie Chan broke two Guinness World Records for “Most Stunts Performed by a Living Actor” and “Most Credits in One Movie”. Well… anyway, you should know that Jackie has what looks to be a dope action movie that was originally released in 2012 but is now on the way to American theaters this weekend on October 18th. ‘Almost Human’ stars Karl Urban as troubled cop John Kennex and Michael Ealy as his flawed ‘Almost Human’ robo-partner Dorian. Set a couple of decades in the future, LAPD detectives are forced to partner with human-like androids. Produced by J.J. Abrams, the powerhouse producer of some of today’s hottest sci-fi TV series and movies. Peep the chemistry between the partners that comes through in the clip above. Should be a good look for fall viewing.

Just finished watching this. WOW!! Speechless. Truth is… I did not even know what to call this genre David Banner is delving into on YouTube, but thankfully my brother did (shout out to @BoneBreakerMC – love you bruh)… Action Fantasy! Yeah. This “Walking With Gods” is DOPENESSS (with an extra ‘s’)!
‘Walking With Gods is a live-action, superhero series. It is about a man whose godly powers are realized only when his inner being is balanced and he truly believes in the power within.’
I hope this effort spurs continued growth in this sector of the arts. New content… we don’t have to wait on the next X-Men or Transformers at the box office when folks like Mr. Mississippi are putting out ORIGINAL work we can be proud of and support right now! Positive images of people of color with great story lines and musical scores to boot. Banner’s effort to ‘Control Our Images’ on screen needs our support.
