Without teasing too much as to what’s coming in the film, at least in this trailer we find out what the “S” on his chest stands for. Check out this new extended trailer for the upcoming big budget summer film starring Brad Pitt called ‘World War Z’. These new zombie flicks sometimes makes you wonder if Hollywood is getting us prepared for something that could actually happen. The premise of the film centers around Brad Pitt who plays a worker for the U.N. desperately trying to find out why an apocalyptic pandemic of zombie outbreaks are bringing down entire nations around the world. Before you laugh at the thought that any of this could be even remotely possible you may want to read about how countries like Russia are reportedly working on weapons that can turn people into zombies. Now that’s a possible horror story. World War Z hits theaters June 21st….

Iron Man 3 (Movie Trailer)

Marvel’s upcoming ‘Iron Man 3′ film starring Robert Downey Jr returning in the lead role as Tony Starks is slated to hit the theaters & here comes another interesting trailer to get us ready for the film. It’s expected that Don Cheadle is returning as Tony’s friend Jim Rhodes who wrecks havoc as the Iron Patriot suit but is that enough for Iron Man to defeat his latest foe? In this particular trailer I’m wondering if director Shane Black may have revealed too much in this new trailer as to HOW Tony Stark plans to defeat his nemesis the ‘Mandarin’. We’ll see when the film hits theaters May 3rd. Can’t wait!

Spike Lee directed this upcoming documentary on the 25th Anniversary of Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ album. The documentary scheduled to air on ABC from 9:30pm-11:00pm Thanksgiving Day November 22nd & is expected to flash us back to 1987 for Michael Jackson’s historic “Bad” album & tour with some never seen before footage. Looking forward to seeing this while chomping down some sweet potato pie. Who’s bad?!

Change In The Game (Film Trailer)

Shout out to Will Feagins, Jr., who has directed many a hot music video we’ve posted on here. Now, the brother brings us “Change in the Game” – a documentary that ‘discusses some of the changes that have affected how Hip-Hop is created and received as well as factors that influenced those changes such as, technology, commercial success and the relationship between the artists new and old.’ Looks like its going to be a dope film indeed. If you want to be among the first to see it, come to Atlanta’s A3C Festival 2012 (follow the link to our prior post on A3C below), where the film will make its debut! Another reason to love Atlanta… and Hip-Hop!

Without question Nas’s soon to be classic “Life Is Good” album is one of the best hip hop albums to have dropped this year. What makes me more excited is the way in which he’s releasing a single for many of the songs from the project. Nas is set to drop this 5th video from the “Life Is Good” project with one of my favorite songs off the album entitled “Cherry Wine” featuring Amy Winehouse. Dope choice Mr. Jones…..Dope choice. Skyfall (Movie Trailer)

I was underwhelmed by the recently released ‘Dark Knight Rises’ film that hit theaters, but I’m hoping actor Daniel Craig starring as James Bond in the upcoming ‘Skyfall’ film doesn’t disappoint me. I think Daniel Craig makes a great ‘James Bond’ & I’ve enjoyed the last couple of films where he took on the starring role. Expecting nothing less than great action, superb visual effects, & an intelligent storyline with this ‘Skyfall’ flick.

Disney is pulling back the curtain on the origins of L. Frank Baum’s classic masterpiece “The Wizard of Oz,” with the story of “Oz: The Great and Powerful.” After directing three Spider-Man films, Sam Raimi has turned his attention to this fantastical story of a small-town magician (played by James Franco) who is hurled by a tornado into the Land of Oz where he has a chance to be shaped into the great and powerful wizard he always aspired to be. Django Unchained (Movie Trailer)

Quentin Tarantino’s latest film “Django Unchained” stars Jamie Foxx as a slave-turned-bounter hunter who sets out to rescue his wife, played by Kerry Washington, from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Although a few big time actors have dropped out in the casting of the film like Will Smith, Kurt Russell, & Kevin Costner, there are still a number of stellar actors involved with the film including Samuel L. Jackson, The RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, Christopher Waltz, & former Miami Vice notable Don Johnson. The western revenge flick hits theaters in December…

The Amazing Spider-Man (Trailer)

I enjoyed the previous Spider Man films starring Tobey Maguire that hit the big screen a few years back so when I initially heard that filmmakers were going to redo the series in theaters so soon I sort of groaned aloud thinking it’s probably gonna be wack. I’m having a change of heart watching these previews for “The Amazing Spider-Man” because it feels like the creators are simply revisiting the formula that was used to reboot DC Comic’s Batman films. The initial Batman films were very “comicbook-like” in nature while the most recent ones like “Batman Begins” & “The Dark Knight” have been darker & more adult in it’s approach. I believe that’s the plan for The Amazing Spider-Man when it hits theaters this summer….

It’s gonna be a great summer of blockbuster movies with “The Dark Knight Rises” opening July 20th amongst a whole host of other highly anticipated superhero & action films we’re all looking forward to seeing. With this reportedly the last & final part in the Batman trilogy it’s expected that director Christopher Nolan will pull out all the stops with actor Christian Bale reprising his role as Bruce Wayne & the caped crusader.
