Hate to see talented artists we respect lyrically going at it with each other, especially when they all used to be friends at one point. Well that’s the music business for ya…..it is what it is…..
“The day just got a lot hotter. Former G.O.O.D. Music frontman Consequence held his word and today launched a war against Kanye West and his army. In what’s expected to be the first of many attacks, on his first try Cons puts the spotlight directly on the labels latest signee, lyrical monster Pusha T. On the track titled “The Plagurist Society†Cons questions Pusha’s coke-dealing raps while reminding the VA hustler that he comes from the land of the elite weight movers, the notorious Supreme Team. Consequence saves the best for last towards the end of the record when the Queens native promises to take aim at West on the next go round.”

This guy Paul White is new to me. Apparently he is a Drummer from from the UK. I’d really like to hear how this collab with Detroit’s Guilty Simpson came about. I’ll work on that but in the meantime. Paul White toured with Tricky, a UK based artist who has worked with a LONG list of notable artist. His new project is called Rapping with Paul White and features Guilty Simpson, Danny Brown, Homeboy Sandman, Marv Won among others. Check him out here. This track is cool. I’m definitely digging the vibe.

Saw a lot of people not happy with this diss track on my twitter timeline. I’m not mad at it though. He said a few things I tend to agree with, but on the other hand the Game releasing a diss record is about as original as bologna on white bread. In a story at XXL he now says its not a diss song.

This is pretty dope joint that will be featured on Consequence’s upcoming ‘Movies On Demand 3’ mixtape that will drop in the coming days. I like the lineup of emcees he’s chosen to get down with on this track in Elzhi, Rapper Big Pooh. Not familiar with Tannie J, but her contribution makes the song dope. This track was also produced by The Produce Section who also crafted a few dope bangers for Atlanta based emcee BIGREC.
