Fashawn drops this “Champion” (produced by Exile) record on us just in time. He did it for World Champion Boxer Timothy Bradley for his upcoming rematch against Manny Pacqiauo, April 12, 2014. Who’ll win in the ring then is up for grabs. But you can get over to the page (link below) and grab this single right now.
Proper party energy in a mix conveyed by a mixmaster. Respect to DJ SARASA for providing the blend of music made to rock Japan (rolling with Blu & Exile on their 2013 Tour). A mix that’ll rock a crowd stateside (USA), too… more than ‘something to dance to’… you can groove to this – be you a dancer or desk jockey, at work or in the ride, at the house or (of course) at the show. Plus: NO WACK TRACKS. Plus… You can get this for exactly FREE.99 (so help yourself to FREE downloads until the Soundcloud hits its limit)!
Blu drops “Lemonade” online, announcing a limited 7″ vinyl release (with only 400 pieces to be made available October 9, 2012). Advice: If you want that vinyl, you may want to pre-order…like NOW (going fast)! The “Lemonade” joint itself is dope… a real in-the-booth sound to the vocals and mix to boot.
Maaaaannnn! This is DOPE! “A Man” is a cut off the “Maybe One Day” EP (out now); and it will be on the upcoming Blu and Exile album “Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them” (due out September 4, 2012). You gotta listen to this. It’s not just lyrical, it’s spiritual…cerebral…all that…literally!

I have never really been a fan of rapping producers, but the latest single by frequent Blu collaborator and West Coast beatsmith Exile can get some run. Don’t expect to be wowed by any crazy bars as Exile goes in on what he deems wack emcees and producers, but the beat is pretty ill and you can ride out to it. The video for “Klepto” is kinda wild but it seems like the angle he was going for anyway. The album 4TRK Mind is out now.
Another in Flud Watches series showcasing their new BPM watches and taking music with some of the best DJs and producers past and present. This time we got Exile, who talks about playing the accordion, his musical family, and the MPC.
