Phonte & 9th Wonder Talk About The Word ‘N*gga’ (Video)

I have to agree with Phonte & 9th Wonder on the use of the word ‘N*gga’ by other racial groups. If you don’t have any melanin in your skin you’re really taking a risk with your safety. If you’re not related to me then don’t say it to me because it could be easily taken out of context. Simple as that.

Phonte Talks About 9th Wonder & Mending Their Friendship (Video)

Glad to see Phonte & 9th Wonder have mended their friendship above all else. When I interviewed Phonte during the time when they were not on speaking terms it sounded like he really missed that friendship although he didn’t admit it at the time. Feels good to see they are putting the pieces back together again….

Zo! – ‘Greater Than The Sun’ feat. Phonte (Video)

“SunStorm” is the latest album from Detroit-area born, DC-area based producer/multi-instrumentalist Zo! & here is one of the key songs they decided to drop a video for. Dope song but I couldn’t help but laugh at the female lead’s knees in beginning of the video. She must’ve been working hard on dem dere knees……

Lil B feat. Jean Grae & Phonte – ‘Base For Your Face’ (prod by 9th Wonder)

Now this joint is heat! I can’t say I’ve ever had a genuine interest in Lil B’s music prior to this joint although I understand why he appeals to HIS particular fans. There’s always going to be different lanes in the rap music industry. Some may appeal to you & some may not but I do like when artists from different worlds are able to collaborate especially when the final results turn out dope! Thank you Based God. Hahaa!

Phonte Lets Loose More Unreleased Tracks For The Fans

Phonte let go a few more songs for fans that were sitting around collecting digital dust. Here’s a few that I enjoyed plus the comedic ‘We Are The World’ styled “Rza Is The World’ song where he’s impersonating Rza from the Wu-Tang Clan raising money for Haiti.

Foreign Exchange Talk About Avoiding A Performance Nightmare (Video)

If you’ve never been to Canada then you may not be fully aware that they have some very strict border policing practices. Phonte, Nicolay, & the rest of the Foreign Exchange crew talked about being in a very tight situation very close to showtime in Toronto. Check out the video to hear the story & following the jump check out some behind the scenes footage of Foreign Exchange’s new video for ‘Authenticity’ which is the title track from their new album in stores now.

The Foreign Exchange – ‘Maybe She’ll Dream Of Me’ Live In London (Video)
