A double album is always a risky bet for artists. High risk of overplaying your hand, as you are giving lots of music for a reasonable price, with the perception of higher ‘value.’ But often the result is a watered down product, or one with too many tracks between the ‘good’ joints.
Make your own judgments about what Musiq is trying to do with his double LP. But we know you will come to like at least one jawn… “Sooner Or Later”

The Konee Rok-directed visuals have her going through some MJ-Black-Or-White type changes, getting more and more sexy and the eyes getting more ‘bedroomy’ as the song progresses. Like she sings, ‘Let her have her way’ with you in the afternoon. You won’t be disappointed. Oh yeah, Musiq is good with the track, and the flows by Nello Luchi…nice. But watch for nothing but hot Chrisette Michele; because that’s what you’ll get. Robert Glasper is set to release his “Black Radio” album that I’m very much looking forward to this February 28th. The album will be an infusion of Blues, Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, & a variety of other ingredients that should musically define what “Black Radio” should be. A few of the songs that leaked early featuring Erykah Badu, Musiq Soulchild, Chrisette Michele, & R&B trio King let’s me know that this is shaping up to be a very good project. This EPK of Robert Glasper was shot by our homie Cognito who now resides in Los Angeles….
