Troy Ave – “Appreciate Me” (Video)
One of my favorite songs from Troy Ave gets a video. “Appreciate Me” is one of several bangers off this year’s late summer plate “Roland Collins” (linked below).
Jabee – “Tried So Hard” (Prod. By Phen) [Video]
Found another Jewel… Run The video above, the hit the jump for more on Jabee to truly get what I mean. They’re out here. Just gotta dig for ’em (or know someone with the hookup… I got ya). And for this one, you’re welcome!
The always real Jabee brings a powerful performance to his track “Tried So Hard” Phen (of Jivin Scientists). The soulful vocal sample and the vulnerability of his lyrics are emphasized by the haunting visuals of a man torn to pieces by the very people he craves to please.
Another amazing track and video from his latest album “Black Future” (out now).

The LOX – “Filthy America… It’s Beautiful” (Album Stream)
The Hip-Hop D-Block anti-hero trio has been releasing serious heat for the street; always, but esp. as of late. A single here, another there. But ’nuff that! How about a whole plate? Well, glad you asked, because that’s what this is – the full album stream & link for “Filthy America… It’s Beautiful” by The LOX.
KXNG Crooked – “Robocop Went Pop” (Video)
Pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop! Load another clip…
Rhyme animal straight from the Slaughterhouse. Rhyming about bringing home some ‘bacon’ this time though. YOOOOO! KXNG Crooked managed to work in loving the 2nd Amendment AND the Bible in this “Robocop Went Pop” visual for the single off his “Good Vs Evil†album. Whew!
J. Cole – “4 Your Eyez Only” (Album Stream)
J. Cole came back hitting hard and fast (with little fanfare or warning) at the year’s end! Last part of this last quarter 2016, Coleworld could go platinum again… with no features. He got it like that, and his fans know & appreciate him. Obviously. That last platinum plaque: Cole did that with no features. Just like this 10-track project “4 Your Eyez Only.” Stream it below for the FREE.99 and see if you agree that Jermaine is on a back-to-back platinum title run with this one.

De La Soul – “Memory Of (US)” feat. Pete Rock x Estelle (Video)
(Clearing throat) The GRAMMY-NOMINATED De La Soul has made 2016 another one-two for Hip-Hop with their “…and the Anonymous Nobody” album to be certain! And here is another taste from that tasty plate. Without further adieu, we present to you, Masterpiece Hip-Hop hosted by Pete Rock. Today’s viewing: “Memory Of (US)” – featuring Estelle. Enjoy!
Narcotechs – “Kick In La Puerta” feat. AG Da Coroner x Tony Touch x DJ Top 10 (Video)
Interesting. Rolled up on “Lil Yachty” like a drop squad. Showed him Hip-Hop the hood way and converted him to rocking a B.I.G. shirt instead of continuing to diss the culture. Strong Beatz & Lyrics. That’s the ‘strong arm tactic’ in this “Kick In La Puerta” video. Checked out that FREE Narcotechs LP yet (posted earlier here) You really should probably. AG Da Coroner, Tony Touch, and DJ Top 10 on this alone ought to push you that way. After you watch this vid, of course.

Narcotechs (Mpire x Doza) – “My Name Is Juan” feat. Ark Medina (Video)
The music’s dope. Not much info on the webs on them, but the work is speaking for the two collectively going by the name Narcotechs so far. This latest Latino Hip-Hop amalgamation is a partnership of solid solists – Dax Mpire and Doza The Drumdealer – that are solid gold together. Teaming up with Narcotechs on this Doza-dummed out beat is their homie Ark Medina. So, what we have here is a trio who did NOT fail to communicate just how dope they can be. Don’t delay jumping on that play button to check out “My Name Is Juan” off the duo’s self-titled full-length project available for FREE download here.

General Steele – “Persistence” feat. VVS Verbal x Louie Skaggs (Video)
The streets will marry you, divorce you, then try to bury you!
Y’all better listen to a General out there in them streets! VVS Verbal and Louie Skaggs got something to say on it, too. Shiiid. Tell you what… the Tube title said this is the ‘official video’… But I’m stamping this video for “Persistence” “official!” The pros’ flows go easy on an easy rider track. Puff this niceness off the new “Building Bridges” album from General Steele & Es-K (out now).

Eloh Kush x Dus – “B-Boy Bonanza” feat. John Robinson x El Da Sensi x A.G. x Stahhr (Video)
Damn. That’s a strong lineup. AND L-L-LOOK! It’s StaHHr! She’s ’bout to snap on a track again! That alone was occasion enough for me to take a look-see (and listen). And I am glad I did, because for some who still sleep, this is my opportunity to share some real essence of way back. Boom bap or get slapped. This is Hip-Hop family. So, have a seat and belly up to these BARZ. “B-Boy Bonanza” – buffet of choice lyrics from Eloh Kush & Dus, featuring John Robinson, EL Da Sensi, A.G. (of D.I.T.C.)… and StaHHr with the shutdown verse. Just a bump off that “Angeldus” LP. Dope!

Termanology With Real Talk For B-Real In ‘The Smokebox’ (Video)
We know Termanology has the Hip-Hop chops. Vocab for dope vocals…check! But what about what B-Real has on deck: Can dude handle the convo and endo in the bucket with closed doors & windows? Let’s watch ’em roll ’em up – the panes and the Red October PAIN. Smokebox time!
B-Real steps inside “The Smokebox” with Termanology. The interviews goes into the album, “More Politics.” Also, musical inspirations & favorite strains are discussed.
Term do beats, too? Nice!

Word on the Interwebs is that Cole is going at Drake and Kanye West. Maybe. But actually, this is the realest way to step to and stomp out wackness on the whole. With dope music… off “4 Your Eyez Only.” Check out “False Prophets” above.
Dave East – “Stretched Out” (Statik Selektah Remix)
Okay, you don’t have to; but you ought to go listen (here) to the original “Stretched Out” off the “A3C VOLUME 4” LP first. Then you can twist up your lip with disdain at the very notion of remixing a dope azz Dave East jawn like that. THEN you can scrunch your face up when you hear the Statik Selektah Remix like deeeeem! Stat Diddy = No Joke folks!
