R&B: Rochelle Jordan – “Pressure” (Mixtape)
Remember that nice joint “Losing” we posted here a while ago? Well, Toronto’s own Rochelle Jordan is back with her full mixtape – “Pressure” (entirely FREE here) – and there is more to enjoy! Twelve tracks… and “Losing” was just the tip of a very cool iceberg. Nice.

R&B/Soul: Vivian Green – “Anything Out There”
Slated to be on her upcoming release, “The Green Room,” Vivian Green presents “Anything Out There.” Syrupy sweet and smooth. Rock this when you’re in the chill zone (or when you want to get there). The single is available for download via iTunes now. “The Green Room” will be out on September 25, 2012.
R&B/Soul: AAries – “Don’t Give It Up”
Coming soon on the “Reel People Music” release, Philly Twin Sister act AAries blesses us with “Don’t Give It Up.” You can stream it right here for now. The release date for “Reel People Music” is August 17, 2012 (days away; so, we won’t be waiting long).
R&B: Arlissa – “Hard To Love Somebody†feat. Nas (Video)
South London’s Arlissa sings with an old soul, though she is not even out of her teens. She’s about to be major though. With a Nas co-sign? Come on. I need not say any more. The video for the remake of Arlissa’s single “Hard To Love Somebody†(due out on iTunes September 30, 2012) provides visuals for the good music she and Nas made. Shout out to This Is RnB for the scoop on this hotness.
Tall Black Guy – “Desperte se Rápido” (Instrumental)
From his 11-track digital album, “Brazilian Chronicles” (out now), Tall Black Guy releases this instrumental gem, “Desperte se Rápido.” A nice uplifting message at the end, too. The commentary at the ends sounds like the voice of Bobby McFerrin but I could be wrong though. You can get “Brazilian Chronicles” – a montage of Brazilian-sampled music (including “Desperte se Rápido”) – by following the link provided here.

Tabi Bonney – “Love Joy Park” (EP)
Tabi Bonney has released a cool nine track EP we thought you should have. ‘Cause we’re cool like that. “Love Joy Park” has features from the likes of Raheem DeVaughn, Fat Trel, Phil Ade, and TCB. Get Tabi Bonney’s “Love Joy Park” EP here now. This is a worthy follow-up to “The Endless Summer” album, which you can get from our post here (another cool hook-up for you).

R&B: Lloyd – “Turn On The Lights” (Remix) [Video]
Lloyd did his thing on this remix of Future’s hit record “Turn On The Lights.” I was just mentioning on twitter that I could see reggae artist Mavado doing a very dope remix to Atlanta artist Future’s popular record. Apparently Lloyd didn’t waste anytime in showing how an R&B artist could flip it visually & sonically. You can download Future’s debut album, “Pluto,” from iTunes right now. We have the single for this video (featuring Lloyd), “Turn On The Lights (Remix)” for you right here.

K’naan – “Hurt Me Tomorrow” (Video)
Somali born emcee & the troubadour himself, K’naan, delivers a colorful new video for “Hurt Me Tomorrow”. The song is further in the direction of the R&B, Pop, or World Music lane than the earlier days when we had K’naan on the Beatz & Lyrics Show years ago. It’s not surprising though considering the Toronto based emcee is now considered to be an international hip hop star. Although he’s a bigger international name these days I made a small observation of him not wearing any shoes in this new video that appears to signify that K’naan hasn’t forgotten his roots & the memorable alias he used coming up as the ‘Dusty Foot Philosopher’. Having collaborated with artists like Nas, Nelly Furtado, David Guetta, Wale, & touring with guys like Lenny Kravitz I’m positive his feet are a lot less dusty financially although K’naan still drops his good life philosophies within his music.

R&B/Soul: Range Da Messenga – “Gone” (Produced by Hezekiah) [Video]
Virginia native & now Philly based artist Range Da Messenga is trying to tell you something, maaaannn. To do so, he teamed up with one of Philly’s soulful beat-makers & emcee, Hezekiah, to breathe life into “Gone.” Video director Rebekah “BGNB†Frimpong delivers a visual presentation for “Gone†to drive home an age-old message with a heart-wrenching twist: Hold on to the love you have, because you won’t know what you really had until it’s gone!” “Gone” is the first single from their forthcoming three-song EP entiled “Battlecry.”
B.O.B. Invades Switzerland (Video)

R&B/Soul: House Shoes – “Castles” featuring Jimetta Rose (Video)
Now, while “Time” (featuring Big Tone posted a while back here) is still a banger worth spinning, the latest House Shoes single off his album, “Let It Go,” entitled “Castles” (featuring Jimetta Rose), gets the needle on Beatz & Lyrics Saturdays nowadays. Definitely a JayForce favorite! And why not? The joint is banging, and so is this video for it! By the way, “Let It Go” is available via iTunes now.

R&B: Keyshia Cole – “Enough Of No Love” (Video)
New video directed by Philly’s favorite son Benny Boom for ‘Enough Of No Love’ featuring Lil Wayne. After a short absence from the music scene Keyshia Cole is prepping to release her next album ‘Woman 2 Woman’ later this year. Definitely a visually dope looking video…

Miguel – “Adorn” (Extended Video)
One of my favorite songs from Miguel gets another video for “Adorn”. The single was originally featured on his Art Dealer Chic Vol. 1 mixtape & had a relatively short video for it we posted a while back. As the popularity of the ‘Adorn’ single grew, Miguel released an extended version of the song & here’s the new video for it. Look for more on Miguel’s upcoming album “Kaleidoscope Dream” due October 2nd…

Estelle – ‘Thank You’ (Video)
Gotta salute Estelle with this video as we see some candid shots of this soulful singer and her life on tour. Cameos in the end included the wicked producer Jazzwad, celebrity dancer John Hype, Beenie Man, Patexx, Iyara, Bawse Dawg and the Grung Gaad himself Bounty Killer as she stopped of in Jamaica. This song is off her album All Of Me and was also featured on the Love Ultra Mix CD – Part Two.
A funny scene is her being led to the stage to perform on the beach and she looking back at security guard like ‘HELP NUHH’ and then her trying to form the ‘A’ with her fingers to rep for ‘The Alliance’. As we celebrate Jamaica’s 50th year of Independence… This reminds me why ‘Jamaica Nice!’

Lady Anya x Love Ultra Radio Interview with Jah Prince
Tonight we interviewed Lady Anya Kvitka and ask about her new ANYA: EP which features some dope production from snack|BOT and Hippie Sabotage that accompany her strong vocals. Sometimes mistaken for her visual appeal, Anya was a classically trained pianist and loves to showcase her skills anywhere from a small venue to a community stage. She reps for the West Coast and the true essence of Hip-Hop just as much as pop and jazz. One of her tracks will be featured on the next Love Ultra Radio Promotional Mix CD!

R&B/Alternative: Dawn Richard – “Pretty Wicked Things”
You know Dawn Richard (from Dirty Money), right? We just posted something on her a while back (see Dawn Richard – Wild N’ Young) To be that good. Wow! I tell you Dawn Richard did the work on this track (entitled “Pretty Wicked Things”)! Now, I’ll admit that the first bounce – from slow-and-low to dance tempo – threw me, but shout to producer by Druski for the vision on this one. A somber trance feel pervades over the entirety of this techno track – fast and slow parts. But by the time the music faded, I could not imagine it being better any other way. The full length release, on which “Pretty Wicked Things” will be featured, is entitled “Goldenheart” (due out October 16, 2012).
The-Dream – “Dope Beyatch” feat. Pusha-T (Video)
I wouldn’t be surprised if this video got run on BET, MTV, & VH1 with the title as it is & all the drug & gun references. I still prefer the radio playable “Dope Chick” version to this song. I don’t mind it in some hip hop I listen to, but I don’t like my R&B music too gangsta. I like an element of class & sophistication if I want to get ‘gangsta’ with the R&B. When I want to listen to some real ‘Gangsta R&B’ music I prefer to listen to joints like THIS, and THIS, & THIS. But I digress…
The-Dream’s long-awaited The Love IV MMXII album is due out September 20th….

R&B: Elle Varner – “I Don’t Care”
Mm…mm…mmmph! If that gal Elle Varner looks as good as she sings… wait…SHE DOES! But she’s got the chops, too…for real. You know that if you have been coming to JayForce.com for some time now. If not, just search the site for Elle Varner posts (like Elle Varner – “Refill†here), and reward yourself! Listen to Elle Varner’s newest track, “I Don’t Care” off her upcoming album “Perfectly Imperfect.”
