The trailer shows an ensemble cast giving us a real look at history in the raw. Make your plans around this program’s debut on Memorial Day, May 30th.

Sweden’s DJ Devastate does justice on this remix of The Roots single “Get Busy,” featuring Dice Raw and Peedi Crakk, as featured on the The Roots’ eighth studio album, “Rising Down.” Notably in this remix, DJ Devastate reworks the scratch hook on the original ?uestlove production, using lifted song pieces from Black Thought, Nas, J Dilla and more. Roots Picnic Recap 2012 (Video)

This is a recap of the 5th Annual Roots Picnic on Philadephia’s festival pier at Penn’s Landing. On-stage acts riding with The Roots included De La Soul, Yasiin Bey, and Rakim! Certainly one of those you-had-to-be-there events, but this recap video gives you a good taste of what went down.
