Take Em To The Cleaners: Fat Joe, Raekwon, Reks, SlaughterHouse, Boog Brown, Clyde Carson, & More

Every week or two I’m gonna do what I call ‘Take Em To The Cleaners’. It’s gonna be a post of clean music for all my DJs & radio people who require clean versions of songs. Make sure you check out last week’s ‘Take Em To The Cleaners’ post & general info I posted. Here’s what I have for this week after the jump!
Bell Biv Devoe Performs With The Roots On The Jimmy Fallon Show (Video)
You never trust a big butt & a smile that girl is pooiiiiisssonnnnnnnnnnnn……Many people may not know that Bell Biv DeVoe’s poison is inspired by a true story I heard Michael Bivins talking about years ago……….. Bell Biv Devoe performs ‘Do Me Baby’ under the hood….
Anthony David – ‘4Evermore’ feat. Algebra & Phonte (Video)
Somebody left ya man out of the celebration. Somebody needs to holla at me. Am I too hood to make a cameo in this video?! I love good soul music too man. Mannnnn I see plenty of my homies in the video but no Jayforce?! I could have gotten my two step on in the joint you haters! Haha! Seriously thou….big shout out to many of my people making cameos in the video for this dope song. My homegirl Jodine repping for Jodinescorner.com who plays the role of Phonte’s love interest in the video, my homegirl Sabrina Rose of ‘Slick & Rose’, the homie Jamal Ahmad from 91.9 WCLK in Atlanta, & of course the big homie DJ Kemit who plays the wedding DJ & who just so happens to be the producer of the song. After the jump check out my homegirl Jodine doing some behind the scenes interviews about the making of the video. Congrats to all involved for a great song & great video…….It’s good music people!
Novel – ‘Hood Chick’ feat. Rapper Big Pooh

Perfect for Valentines Day….I like hood chicks too but not too hood though…..Nah trust me man I don’t need Cleo from ‘Set If Off’ son…..I’m good….Dope song though. Novel is an soulfully underrated talent in the game though. I enjoyed some of the stuff he did with Joell Ortiz too. Make sure yall look for his upcoming album ‘Calligraphy’ dropping sometime this year.
Teedra Moses – ‘R U 4 Real’ (Video) + ‘I Adore You’
It’s hard to imagine this beautiful & vocally talented woman is the baby momma of ill West Coast emcee Ras Kass. Not only can Razzy be proud of the fact that she’s the mother of his children, but Teedra Moses outshines 99% of singers in the music industry with her talent despite not always getting the proper promotion. Imagine how talented their kids could become? Wow. I still bump Teedra’s 2004 debut album ‘Complex Simplicity’ on the ipod from time to time which to many real music fans is a classic in itself. Rick Ross has now signed her to his new Maybach Music Group label so maybe he can help her get the proper light she deserves. Check out her new website TeedraMoses.net & make sure you peep this song called ‘I Adore You’ that she released to give fans a teaser of the upcoming album….
Trey Songz – Love Faces (Video)
Just in time for Valentines Day from the kid from V.A……

Fresh, Will.I.Am, Chaka Khan, Melanie Fiona, Marsha Ambrosius, & too many others to name. Check out more videos fans in the crowd after the jump below……..

Classic Clips: Smokey Robinson & The Miracles – ‘You Really Got A Hold On Me’ (Video)
Although ‘You Really Got A Hold On Me’ isn’t one of Smokey Robinson & The Miracles most well known singles, it’s a personal favorite of mine. If you happen to be an artist watching these videos you need to study Smokey Robinson & The Miracles’ movements in these clips. Not only are they performing live vocally, but the dance steps are so on point with precision its a wonder how they don’t bump into each other. Pay attention artists. The rest of us will just enjoy it…..Timeless classic. More video after the jump.

Chris Brown Performances On Saturday Night Live (Video)
Good to see Chris Brown starting to get love from the music community & fans again. All he has to do is focus on making great music, keep the twitter beefs & other distractions to a minimum and the kid will be back on top in no time. Especially with the way he’s been killing his live performances lately. More video after the jump……
Dirty Money – ‘Ass On The Floor’ Remix

I really dig this remix from Dirty Money. Unfortunately I think Puff’s rap segment is rather weak but overall I’m really feeling this remix of the song. No disrespect to Puff but I may have to edit his rap segment of the song out for my personal enjoyment. If I decide to do so y’all can check back here for it. Take that! Take That! Take That!
Chris Brown Is ‘Cold Blooded’ When It Comes To Dancing (Video)
Very few male R&B artists can kill the dancing game like Chris Brown. Despite his recent troubles the kid is still not to be f*ckd with when it comes to performing. I first met Chris Brown when he was young eager 16 year old kid just getting his start in the game & introducing himself to any DJ who would listen to him. To see how far the Virginia native has come & blown up is truly amazing. Check out the video above as Chris Brown does what he does best over a classic Rick James joint….
Jhene Aiko – ‘Stranger’ (Video Teaser)
Can’t wait to hear the rest of this song that caught my attention recently. It’s from the black & japanese beauty Jhene Aiko’s upcoming album ‘Sailing Soul(s)’ due on March 16th. Supposedly this is just a visual teaser for the single ‘Stranger’. ***Fabolous Voice*** “Niiiiice”
Raphael Saadiq – ‘Good Man’ (Video)
Looking forward to Raphael Saadiq’s new album ‘Stone Rollin’ due March 22nd. Check out the new video he just dropped for ‘Good Man’.
Phonte Lets Loose More Unreleased Tracks For The Fans
Phonte let go a few more songs for fans that were sitting around collecting digital dust. Here’s a few that I enjoyed plus the comedic ‘We Are The World’ styled “Rza Is The World’ song where he’s impersonating Rza from the Wu-Tang Clan raising money for Haiti.
Phonte – Dillagence (Tribute To J Dilla) (prod by DJ Spinna)
Phonte -Â From The Top feat. Daily Planet (prod by 9th Wonder)
