Okay, so Jaden Smith is really emo-autotuned out for this “SOHO” track… more so than on stuff posted earlier… I grant you that. But I’m still riding with the young emcee because (1) he is Hip-Hop royalty [heard his dad Will joined him on stage in Fresh Prince mode recently], (2) he and his girl in this vid are adorable [cute couple], and (3) the vibe on this is soooo relaxing.
So there. You got me. But I bet if you click play and watch, Jaden will ‘get’ you. And then you’ll get it.

Ohhhh sh!t, Jaden beasted out the barz on the track like that??? Well, there is no reason he shouldn’t. I think I am more impressed that he could have kept going other ways than to come with some real Hip-Hop grimy for this. Let’s keep watching and see how this goes.
For the record, I am enjoying this ‘Calabasas’ freestyle for real. So much so I am including the whole LP from the young prince of The Fresh Prince’s dynasty. Check it out! It’s an exploration of vibes…

Jaden Smith continues to impress me with his music. It’s not just the lyrical wordplay & flow that’s impressing me with each single or project he releases, but often times its the type of soundscapes he chooses to use. One very important element to a good emcee is being able to choose the right beats to convey the mood of the song you’re trying to create. It was a pleasant surprise for me to see that the son of Will & Jada collaborated with very dope producer TA-KU who’s music & production I’ve been following for quite some time now. Will Smith, ‘Carlton’ and Friends Give UK’s Graham Norton a Show (Video)

This could be the most fun 6 minutes you will experience without Dougie Fresh! Watch Will Smith get off the guest couch to rock the mics with his son Jaden at the host’s invitation on the UK’s “Graham Norton Show.” Then… we get DJ Jazzy Jeff on the table… THEN we get Alfonso Ribero (Will’s co-star from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” TV show) coming out to do his ‘Carlton’ dance with Will singing along to the song! A stunned and thoroughly entertained Bradley Cooper (from “The Hangover” and “A-Team” movies) looks on then daps up the performers afterward.
It was like a talk show was going on, and all of a sudden, a party train crashed the studio. You better ‘jump on it’ and enjoy this video!

Will Smith and his son, Jaden, team up on another movie headed to a theater near you. I just got a look at the trailer. Two words… OH SH!T!! The above first look for the movie “After Earth” teases what is sure to be a film full of non-stop action… and drama… and a lot of over-the-top brooding and hollering that is classic Will. I wonder how Jaden will stack up in an action thriller, co-starring with arguably the most reliable ‘big sell’ in modern Hollywood cinema? Check out the clip above, and join me in some gold ol’ fashioned salivating! This should be good.

Will Smith’s son Jaden actually sounds good on this joint. Definitely inherited dad’s skills and swagger mannerisms. Jaden said he’s “the leader of the leaders on the leader board.” What! About to be a problem… with a gang of teen and tween fans currently screaming for Diggy and Drizzy. Don’t know if someone wrote his rhymes for him, but it does sound like a good start as he’s rapping better than some adults in the mainstream. Check out the video for “The Coolest” by Jaden.
