French Montana is like a new schooler who reaches back to get it “All The Way Up” with Golden Era greats like Fat Joe and Nas, and do some joints with other new schoolers that might be palatable to 90’s heads (so we can nod to some of the music the kids like today). That “Lockjaw” gave me a look at Kodak Black I might not otherwise have taken. This “Unforgettable”… Okay, Swae Lee. I see you. Might go try some more of your Rae Sremmurd music on the strength of this. Respect.
Good on you, Montana. Trying to keep the generations of the Hip-Hop Nation connected. Like LinkedIn for rappers or something. Ha!
Also, the feel is similar to “Lockjaw”… that ‘the hood is the hood wherever you live’ worldwide feel.
