This is the new video & first single from Jilly from Philly’s upcoming album ‘Light Of The Sun’ featuring quite a few cameos from Philly representers like Ms. Jade, Peedi Crakk, Meek Mill, & of course Black Thought of The Legendary Roots Crew. Even Queens New York emcee Pharoahe Monch makes a cameo in the clip. It feels good to see they filmed this video in my old North Philly neighborhood. Feels like I was there….

Jilly from Philly is about to hit us with some new joints this year! Jill Scott is set to release a new album called ‘Light Of The Sun’ on Warner Bros & her former label Hidden Beach is going to drop a compilation album of unreleased joints called ‘Just Before Dawn’. I’m assuming the Hidden Beach project due later this year was a part of the agreement involving her break from her former label. That’s wasup! Check out the ‘Shame’ joint featuring Eve which is sort of a nod to the Special Ed classic ‘The Magnificient’. The ‘Lovely Day’ track is a cover of the Bill Withers classic too!
