It’s been a minute since Colin Munroe dropped something where he wasn’t just the featured artist on someone else’s song. I can definitely say I’m a fan of his music & would like to see him eventually get more just deserved fruits of his talent in a greater capacity. Ironically with a song called “The Fight Of My Life” maybe the Canadian singer, songwriter, & all around musician is beginning to turn the tables with Pusha T as the featured on his new joint. It’s funny how some people I know are ignorant how you can be both, but I blame that on their inability to travel. What some people fail to realize is that being “Latino” is more centered on “culture” more so than “race”. Atlanta based rap trio “W.I.C.” (We Invented Cool) drops a new video directed by Black Box ATL for “Hellen Keller”. The trio of Kory Calico, Capeeton Mudfish, & Trip are metaphorically letting cats know what time it is in terms of anyone else riding their style. After dropping two EPs, the group are poised to release their upcoming project “We Invented Cool” that’s scheduled to drop on “LEAPDAY” February 29th. The brothas are scheduled to celebrate their album release here in Atlanta at the Drunken Unicorn with a party the same night.

Scott Storch Arrested For Cocaine Possession In Las Vegas (Video)

As a fellow Philadelphia native it hurts me to see producer & arranger Scott Storch go through his struggles with drug addiction. Considering I remember meeting him during his early days with The Roots. According to TMZ, Scott was picked up in Las Vegas last month after failing to pay for his hotel room before getting knocked for cocaine possession. Hopefully Scott can live up to his “Tuff Jew” moniker & eventually kick the habit or get it under control somehow.

My homie Maurice Garland put me up on one of the artists in this video by the name of L.G. who is spittin’ like a young Nas & he’s not even out of high school yet. I’m sure the same could be said for the rest of the young artists that appear in this video such as Chels, A.B., Supa Creative, & Cypha are New Orleans’s next wave of emcees rhyming in this “2-Cent” video are proving that they are truly the next wave of TRUE young talent coming out the south.
