Countdown To Super Bowl XLV: Jerry Jones Gives A Tour Of The New Stadium
We’re just one week away from Super Bowl XLV with the Pittsburgh Steelers taking on the Green Bay Packers down in Dallas Texas. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would have liked to see his Cowboys play a SuperBowl in the new stadium but quite frankly the ‘Cowgirls’ sucked this year. No pun intended. At least the Cowboys organization can be proud of the awesome stadium they get to play in week in & week out. Most of us will not be able to get in the stadium to see the Super Bowl, but at least we can enjoy the tour ‘ol Jerry gives in the video above. Super Bowl XLV kicks off next Sunday February 6th. Go Steelers

ESPN’s 30 For 30: Straight Outta L.A. – The Raiders (Video)

Although the focus of the documentary is on the years the team was in Los Angeles, the creed & belief system of the organization comes across.
The Oakland Raiders To Officially Announce Hue Jackson As Head Coach

The tweet above may not mean much to most of you, but I’m an Oakland Raiders fan. It’s official…..Al Davis hires Hue Jackson as our new head coach. Despite Al Davis being sometimes portrayed as being quite eccentric, he has probably hired more black head coaches than any other team in the NFL if I’m not mistaken. That’s great, but black or not you still have to ‘Just Win Baby’. Hue Jackson is largely credited for turning the season around this past year for the Raiders. Hopefully it’ll be a good 2011 for the Raiders if the NFL doesn’t have a lockout.

NFL Draft: Who Ya Got?
After Monday’s BCS National Championship a lot of attention has turned from Auburn’s victory to which one of its star players should be picked first in the NFL draft in April. Both players have until Friday to declare for the draft or return to Auburn for another run at the title. Both are expected to turn pro and are sure to be first round picks. But who should go first?

Melo to the Nets?

Rumors of a Carmelo trade are starting to heat up with the New Jersey Nets and not the New York Knicks as the front runners to land the star forward. Carmelo has made known that he will not sign the contract extension offered by the Nuggets and plans to test the free agent market in the summer. Rumors have placed the Knicks as Melo’s first choice of teams he’d like to play for but the Knicks don’t seem to have trade pieces that the Nuggets are looking for, mainly young talent and draftpicks.
