Dope song. Intense subject matter – touching on religion and improper touching by religious leaders. Par for the course where Lupe Fiasco is concerned. Of course, the banging beat (by Mr. Inkredible) could easily hide the blunt lyrics from your conscious hearing; but once you get them, the words will touch your conscience. Whew! This joint, “Lamborghini Angels,” is slated to appear on “Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1,” due out September 25, 2012 (according to Henry Adaso at About.com). DC-based singer Deborah (pronounced Deb-BOR-ah) Bond declares that she channels Anita baker, Chaka Khan, and Sade for her brand of R&B-Funk-British Soul. It’s dope. Having put out two prior LPs, she (with production team/band Third Logic) is banking on the third time being the charm. Well, Deborah is doing the work. She got Nicolay to remix “Say It” – which originally appeared on the most recent full-length release, “Madam Palidrome” – and it is hot joint; sure to lengthen this album’s run. Queenierich Rehman (Miss Philippines) separated herself from the crowd of Miss World Pageant 2012 competitors – not by dancing, playing an instrument, or just singing some verse – but by leading with her smooth singing voice then breaking out into a beat box medley of tunes from various artists such as 50 cent, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, and Cali Swag District!
