Atlanta R&B singer The-Dream aka Mr. Terius Nash is re-releasing his 1977 project commercially but one of his unreleased gems that will be added to the project is this rather personal “Tender Tendencies” joint that he will be featuring. Apparently a few other brand new songs will appear on the project when it drops December 18th.

Wiz Khalifa – “The Bluff” feat. Cam’ron (Video)
This is pretty cool to see Wiz Khalifa finally link up with his favorite rapper Cam’ron for a song. In many interviews the Pittsburgh kid had mentioned he was influenced by Cam’ron & here’s the new video for “The Bluff” which is the latest single from the upcoming album “O.N.I.F.C.” due December 4th. Wiz Khalifa does a very good job in terms of bridging the gap from the elder cats in the game to the youngest after working with Snoop Dogg, Too Short, 50 Cent, Juicy J, & a host of others. Nothing ever seems forced too. Just quality joints right chea. So much indeed…

Big Boi – “In The A” feat. Ludacris x T.I.
When I first heard Big Boi’s new Atlanta anthem “In The A” featuring Ludacris & T.I. my first thought was they need to play this in Philips Arena during the Atlanta Hawks games. Seems like Big Boi’s plans for the record were even greater for that ‘stadium status’….

Chi Ali – “Games & Things” feat. Fat Joe
Although I’m late getting this joint posted up I’ve had this soulful Showbiz produced joint “Games & Things” on repeat several times in my itunes over the past week. The late great Chi Ali is gradually releasing new music after serving a lengthy 12-year stint in prison for murder. Enlisting the help of his Bronx NY brethren Fat Joe was a great decision for this first official joint to announce his return to music. Not sure if he intends to release an album, but as long as he keep the quality coming like this then ‘I ain’t mad at cha’.

Ras Kass Speaks On The Origins Of “The Nature Of The Threat” (Video)
In my years on radio arguably the most controversial song I’ve ever played & probably the most requested for the rewind from phone callers was from the West Coast emcee Ras Kass. Ras Kass’s historical account in the ‘Nature Of The Threat’ caused a wild stir at my radio station when we first played it. In the video above Ras Kass explains how a popular college professor tried to discredit him publicly, but privately agreed with him. For those of you who have never heard “The Nature Of The Threat” it appeared on his debut album “Soul On Ice”. If you want to hear it check it out below….

Dynasty – “If You…” (Video)
Nice! Sexy, cool, and smooth Hip-Hop from Dynasty (aka Ya Girl Dy aka Queens, New York, native turned Tampa, Florida, resident Diana Hardy). This banger is called “If You” and it’s off “The Love EP.” Video is straight-forward and sincere. Love this. Pick up the EP at the Ya Girl Dy’s web store, or download it from iTunes via the link here.

Alicia Keys Loves Her Some ‘Gummi Bears’ (Video)
Who doesn’t love Alicia Keys? As she performs her soulful rendition of the theme to the 1990s cartoon ‘Adventures of the Gummi Bears’ on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, you kind of want to laugh… but you’re kind of saying to yourself… ‘Alicia knows she can sing anything!’
On top of that, she is just that damn fine. You can laugh though. Alicia won’t be offended… mainly because she won’t find out that you did. At least, not from us. Hahaaaaa.

Styles P – Hoody Season (Video)
This banger “Hoody Season” by Styles P is one of my favorite songs that I used to & still spin heavy on the radio show when the single leaked months ago. Looks like ‘The Ghost’ found a home for the track on his “The World’s Hardest MC” project that’s out now. The new video directed by DPTV Films comes at the most appropriate time of the year & as a visual extension of the latest project. I’m diggin’ “SP The Ghost’s” new album because it’s largely geared to people in his hardcore fanbase like me that like when he gets busy over the gritty joints. Hardcore lyrics, banging concrete style beats, & passionate execution. Put your hoodie’s on…it’s ‘Hoody Season’ for real!

Rising hip hop artist Joey Badass is creeping up on the world’s radar more & more everyday. The Brooklyn emcee & his Pro Era crew were featured artists for NY’s Hot 97 “Who’s Next?” showcase recently. By the looks of things it appear everything went down pretty live! A special guest appearance by like minded West Coast lyricist Ab-Soul happens in the clip as well. Great night in ‘New Yawk City’…
