The single was originally featured on his Art Dealer Chic Vol. 1 mixtape & had a relatively short video for it we posted a while back. As the popularity of the ‘Adorn’ single grew, Miguel released an extended version of the song & here’s the new video for it. LOVE THIS! It’s like a dope documentary and song all in one post…’cause that’s what it is!
‘Raekwon spent two days with us, sharing knowledge, debating the top emcees in Hip-Hop and opened up about his thoughts on his legacy and the legacy of the Wu-Tang Clan. It was great to learn that Raekwon still had that drive to be great. As he says in the documentary, “I’m gonna stop, when I want to stop,†and he’s no where near stopping. During the Closed Session, Raekwon picked production from DJ Babu, someone he’d met once or twice, but never had a chance to work with. After going through several joints from Babu, Raekwon selected what sounded like an “off-tempo beat,†one he said reminded him of the something from the Rza. I’ve never been a person very big on fashion, but one of my favorite artists, actors, & social activists Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def has me checking for Louis Vuitton a little more after appearing in their new ‘Dream’ ad. Yasiin Bey doesn’t just endorse anything like many of your favorite rap artists & celebrities who promote every type of cheap liquor or product that they rarely if ever use or believe in. Respect to Yasiin Bey because upon me hearing that he was appearing in an ad for Louis Vuitton I had a comforting feeling that not only would the ad be done well, but that he truly believes in the product. Now that’s a solid endorsement for Louis Vuitton among a certain segment of the community more than any other artist or athlete could give to their brand that money couldn’t buy. It’s a good look for both parties that makes sense.

Hip-Hop LIVES! Jeff informs and provides commentary throughout the video. Like Skillz says in the video: “You gone LEARN today!” Skillz gives all the shine to Jeff, which is a rarity in today’s me-me-me emceeing.
