BTS: Senor Kaos x 4-Ize – ‘Hard To Quit The Rhyme’ Shoot (Video)
One of my favorite songs from Senor Kaos & 4-Ize is this ‘Hard To Quit The Rhyme’ track featuring soul singer Anthony David & produced by Locsmif. Although the track appears on Senor Kaos’s ‘Most Interesting MC In The World’ mixtape, it may appear on an upcoming project considering Senor Kaos & 4-Ize also rhyme under the group name ‘Ultra Beast’. Here is the behind the scenes video they brought along several other lyrical beasts in the Atlanta hip hop scene with Gotta Be Karim, Headkrack, Eddie Meeks, Flux Da Wondabat, & a few others. Shout out to the homie Goldi Gold for the video!

The Weeknd – ‘Trust Issues’ Remix
Drake dropped his version of this song on the web which I thought was just….aight. So much so I didn’t think it was worth taking the time out to post it.  On this site I told the team here that the policy is to post what we like first & foremost. Every other consideration is just secondary. Now when Drake’s fellow Canadian ‘The Weeknd’ dropped this remix on the web a few days ago & it really sounded much much better.  Look for The Weeknd’s upcoming mixtape called ‘Thursday’ dropping soon.
Slakah The Beatchild Is Providing ‘The Cure’ With His Music (Video)
Over the weekend I discover this soulful R&B song called ‘The Cure’ from Canadian artist Slakah The Beatchild. I’m not entirely familiar with Slakah The Beatchild’s work, but after posting a video he directed called ‘When It Comes To You’ for fellow Canadian songstress Ayah I decided to do further research on the web. Of course the first thing I found was this new track called ‘The Cure’ that he just dropped on the web but I also ran across his EPK that dropped sometime last year. Listen or download the ‘The Cure’ below, but check out the video above to familiar yourself with this artist who is talented in a variety of different musical genres & mediums. Part 2 of his EPK is under the hood…..
Mark Cuban Gets Upset With Reporter When Focus Keep Shifting On Lebron James (Video)
I have to agree with Mark Cuban that the Dallas Mavericks earned their respect & are the 2011 NBA Champions, but reporters kept worrying about Lebron James. In this video clip that may have gone under the radar, Mark Cuban let a reporter know ‘Who gives A F*ck About Lebron James…it’s about the accomplishments of the Dallas Mavericks.
Busta Rhymes Talks About His New Business Partnership With N.O.R.E. (Video)
There was a buzz on twitter about Busta Rhymes signing NORE to his Conglomerate label situation. Initially when I saw people tweeting about it I didn’t understand how that would possibly work. Fortunately a reporter was able to catch up with Bussa Buss to officially clarify how the merging of the brands were really going down.
Mos Def Goes Hard For Brooklyn (Video)
If you’re a fan of Mos Def you know he always goes hard for his native Brooklyn. He didn’t disappoint yesterday evening while performing at the Fort Greene Music Festival. In the video above he performs a freestyle for ‘Brooklyn We Go Hard’, but I’d the video cuts off right before ‘The Estatic’ which is one of my favorite Mos Def joints. I’m sure more video from yesterday’s show will surface eventually. Shouts to my homegirl Brandi for the heads up!
Jay Rock feat. Kendrick Lamar – ‘Hood Gone Love It’ (Video)
The West Coast homie Jay Rock has been rather quiet as of late, but he’s back with a new track & video with Kendrick Lamar called ‘Hood Gone Love It’. This dope track was produced by the Justice League so you already know how they get down on dem beats.
Doug E. Fresh Sons Ready To ‘Square Off’ In Making Their Own Mark (Video)
Doug E. Fresh’s sons Dayquan “Slim” & Solomon “Trips” Davis have been pushing their music for a few years now & are continuing to make their own mark & not rest on their pops legacy. A song that I used to play on the radio show a few times was the ‘Left Right’ joint featuring their father, but it’s good that they’re having him fall back a little. It’s easy to see why they’ve collaborated alot with Cory Gunz who’s famous father is Peter Gunz. Even in Cory Gunz’s reality show there were issues where he had to get his father to fall back a little too. Check out this video where they talk about their first album, Money, Moet & Memories, and their father Doug E. Fresh’s influence on their music.

Game Speaks On His Former Manager Jimmy Henchmen (Video)
With the FBI recently arresting Game’s former manager Jimmy Henchmen on drug charges & new allegations that Jimmy Henchmen had something to do with Tupac’s shooting back in 1994, there’s no one in a more odd position than Game at this moment. But Game keeps it clear that what happened back in 1994 he was still a 13 year old kid.

Jill Scott Covers Billboard Magazine

KRS-ONE Reviews ‘Bad Teacher’ (Video)
How smart is it for the the director of this segment to get ‘The Teacha’, KRS-ONE, to review the new film Bad Teacher starring Cameron Diaz?! Genius for that alone. Check out the video to see what KRS-ONE had to say about the new comedy that’s in theaters this weekend.
