Joel Ortiz, Nitty Scott And Bodega Bamz Speak On How They Formed ‘No Panty’ And More (Video)
Wow. Sway looks at the this No Panty move through a spitter’s lens; not even considering that Joel Ortiz, Nitty Scott & Bodega Bamz are all Latino spitters! Check out the Sway In The Morning interview of new super-group No Panty. Get deeper in depth with all that.
When Salaam Remi calls, you answer. First reaching out to Joel Ortiz about his idea to put together some Latin SPITTERS, it was a no-brainer to bring Bodega Bamz and Nitty Scott in that conversation. Introducing: NO PANTY. A new group spitting BARS while still conserving the Latin culture. Watch above and grab their new project “Westside Highway Story.”

Talib Kweli – “Every Ghetto” feat. Aloe Blacc x Problem (Remix) [Prod. By Nottz]
WOOOOO! Aloe Blacc put it down on this one, reminding you that he is way more than a jingle singer for M&Ms. Haaa! But seriously, Talib with this “Every Ghetto Pt 2” (a Nottz-produced remix of the “Indie 500” original). Niiiiice. Blacc… Kweli… Problem!

Nas – “I Am…” (The Has-Lo Version) [Album]
Interesting. VERY! Has-Lo redoing the Nassir classic project “I Am”…bold move! It panned out though. Has-lo finally decided to share it with the world, literally, because this is a FREE download. Check out what Has-Lo has to say about this Version:
I was going through my hard drive and came across these. A few years ago I was working on a remix version of Nas’ “I Am”. I never completed it due to some technical issues. These rough mixes are all that’s left of the project. I figured it’d be pointless to sit on them. Maybe some of you will enjoy them. Some of these beats will be remade and used for other things, some will only exist here. Anyway, I hope you dig it.

No Panty (Bodega Bamz x Nitty Scott x Joell Ortiz) – “Hola” [Prod. By Salaam Remi] (Video)
Of course, there have been Latin alliances in Hip-Hop before… right from its foundation. But that doesn’t diminish what’s up next – No Panty (a super-group comprised of Bodega Bamz, Nitty Scott & Joell Ortiz). Real spit for real from a trio with true lyrical pedigree.
New Latin hip hop group with members Bodega Bamz, Joell Ortiz, and Nitty Scott bring you their first visual “Hola†off of their new album “Westside Highway Story,†produced in its entirety by Salaam Remi.
And I’m not gonna front. Nitty got this vid the noon spot. So hot. All that and skills, too. She anchored this rhyme parade. Check it out!

Like – “Miss Me With That” (Video)
Syncopated boom bap employed in the bangingest way! If you are thinking Like (of Pac Div) is anything but dope in his solo effort… “Miss Me With That.” His flows on this visual, in fact the whole damn “Songs Made While High†LP, are more than enough argument against any haters. Check it out – the vid above and the album link below.
Eternia – “For This Life” feat. Phoenix Pagliacci (Prod. A. Beck) [Video]
Eternia and Phoenix Pagliacci had to check back in with a video for such dopeness – “For This Life” (audio link via earlier post on here below).
The unofficial video pays homage to Toronto’s Annual Manifesto Festival of Community Arts & Culture which has provided a major platform for Eternia, Phoenix Pagliacci and many other Canadian Hip-Hop acts. The footage was captured during MNFSTO 2010 and 2013’s Ladies Cipher at Yonge & Dundas Square in the heart of downtown Toronto.
And this is the ‘unofficial’ video?? Well, alright then. Oh, and whatever Tara Chase was spitting near the end looked like pure FIRE!

The LP has features from Blu, Phonte, Styles P, Mack Wilds, Smoke DZA, Curren$y and more and will be released on October 28, 2016. But first, let’s get into this “414 Words†video.

– Diamond D
The Birth of A Nation: The Inspired by Album (LP)
Right here, right now, you can stream “The Birth of A Nation: The Inspired by Album” LP. Its purpose is more than implied by its title… a companion piece to the movie. This music though, no need to debate or deliberate. These shiz iz the biznezz! Bangers by Nas, Pusha T, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, and more.
