According to TMZ, Harlem’s finest Jim Jones was maced & arrested following an altercation that began when an unknown man allegedly punched him for no reason before both of their entourages got involved which then escalated into an all out brawl in a Connecticut casino. Apparently while officers were trying to subdue an understandably upset Jim Jones, they maced & later arrested him….

This is one of the bangers that really stood out to me from Jim Jones’s new mixtape “Vampire Life” that just dropped recently. I even played this joint on the radio show last Saturday night too. This is some really good timing by dropping the video for “Millionaire’s Wife” featuring his homie Sen City in some far off island (Dominican Republic?) with a bevy of honeys. Now I just need the Capo to eventually drop a video for that “Riding On Empty” joint off of the Vampire Life mixtape & I’m good…

I don’t particularly like this song that much, but the primary reason I’m posting this is because the video is hella creative. Jim’s video directing skills have really come a long way & I can definitely see a progression. Jim Jones employs a twitter theme for the track ‘Everybody Jones’ that appears on his new album ‘Capo’ which is now available on itunes. Personally the ‘God Bless The Child’ joint is one of my favorite tracks from the Capo album that really stands out. Maybe ‘Capo’ will get with Wyclef & shoot a video for that banger……

I’m a Jim Jones fan. I may not like EVERY song he’s released, but I’m still a fan. I think a few of the reasons I’m a fan of Jim Jones is seeing his progression as a music video director & also his tenacity as an artist in the music business. Above all else Jim Jones is good in his general interactions with all types of people from what I’ve observed over the years. He has that similar charisma that Snoop Dogg has in dealing with various types of people. I believe one of things that makes Jim Jones a star is this personality of his when in these more intimate settings among various groups of individuals. Although this clip is short I believe it sort of captures who Jim Jones is a little more beyond the amplified persona.

Shouldn’t ALL weed dispensing establishments have a drive-thru? I have seen drive-thru liquor stores around the ATL, so why not drive-thru dispensaries some of everywhere? Go to the burger drive-thru to get grub, then go smoke up some munchies and go BACK to the burger spot after you devour what you already bought.
See? Good for the economy. Good for everyone! Wonder if Jimmy brings that kinda of thing up? Let’s see.

I like Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s celeb commentary on this Belly Flop competition. There’s technique to consider… Take it seriously, folks!! Reminds me of the VERY serious (but hella fun) Cannonball Competitions we had every summer back in Tuskegee (Alabama, USA) back in the day.
Every year we set up an above-ground swimming pool, and we send Cousin Sal out to Hollywood Blvd to pull a group of confused pedestrians off the street, put them in bathing suits and make them compete in a belly flop contest. This year’s guest judges are Adam Rippon, Mark McGrath, Anthony Anderson’s mom Doris, and a special appearance from Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
