I’ve heard some people tell me before when am I gonna grow up & get married & all this other sort of crap. I’ve been fortunate to have set foot on every continent, but I still haven’t seen most of the world. I have several more to goals to accomplish. I don’t believe I fit into anyone else’s particular box. This short 48 second clip of Steve Jobs is just what I needed today…. Pay attention. I don’t believe they’ll be another 48 seconds of commentary more inspiring.

This is such a dope song by itself from London based artist Delilah, but the video is pretty interesting too from an artistic standpoint. I’ve only known of the 19 year old singer & songwriter primarily from one or two soulful dubstep songs that she appeared on vocally. Apparently I’m late in discovering her talent as “Love You So” is the second single & EP since her debut “Go” EP.

Fat Joe says in this interview that he believes everyone should be able to use the word “N*gga”. I understand the connected history of Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Jamaicans, Haitians & other brothas & sistas from the islands with African ancestry, but I don’t believe it’s for everyone to be saying. The average white person saying “Wasup My N*gga?!” with whom I don’t know would strike a nerve with me. I don’t agree with Fat Joe entirely, but he’s entitled to his opinion. The really eye opening part of this story is when Fat Joe speaks on his first time ever meeting the Reverend Al Sharpton.

New Jersey singer & songwriter Michael Francis is batting a 1,000 with the R&B joints I’ve heard him drop so far. One of his previously released songs entitled “Woman” has been getting alot of play from me on the ipod. Michael Francis was supposed to have dropped a full length project called “Cold Heart Chronicles” that I believe may been delayed at this point, but with good R&B joints like these I’m not mad at the kid. He’s offering advance copies of his full length project over at his website.

While out on tour in the UK, the homies Phife Dawg, DJ Rasta Root, & Snackbox stopped by London’s KISS FM & Phife spit an off the top of the head freestyle. There’s a difference between a “Freestyle” & going “Off The Top” of the head. Unlike most emcees, Phife did both in this video…No written raps in blackberries or iphones necessary.
