Yo this joint is pretty dope because not only can I relate to the story, but it’s good from a visual perspective to see that Atlanta native STS shot this video in my old neighborhood of North Philly near the Temple University campus. It’s a lot nicer looking these days then when I grew up. Well…at least for a few blocks anyway until you’re immediately reminded your still in North Philly. This joint “Cut Me” off is a reworking on Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” jawn that STS will feature on his upcoming project “GOLDRush” where he flips many records from artists & makes them his own.

I’ve heard people I know from Chicago & Cali tell me about this young lady by the name of Iggy Azalea, but I wasn’t quite familiar with her music. I’ve also seen some people who I follow on twitter give her props too. One or two of the songs I heard from her just didn’t quite catch my attention. This particular video that appeared in my email sounds pretty good & I dig the the way the video was shot. We’ll see if this female rap artist from Australia continues to impress down the line. But this joint right here is a good start with me…

RE:GENERATION is a documentary film that follows DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, The Crystal Method, Mark Ronson, and Skrillex as they remix, recreate and re-imagine five traditional styles of music. I’m diggin’ this joint right here, but who’s idea was it for this hook? Probably Erykah’s….Now that’s funky. hahaa!

I understand this guys frustration especially considering he has Atlanta’s sports teams tatted on his arm. This is hilarious! Honestly if Atlanta’s teams had more attitude when they approach their games then they would WIN more games. Atlanta teams just don’t have enough of an aggressive killer attitude. One of the problems are these athletes are thinking about hitting the clubs instead of focusing on their games so dude does have a point.

George Lucas Says Hollywood Didn’t Want To Fund “Red Tails” Because Of Its Black Cast (Video)

George Lucas, known as one of the greatest filmmakers of our time, stopped by the Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote the new film “Red Tails” that hits theaters January 20th. The Star Wars filmmaker provided some insight as to why Hollywood wouldn’t back the film that’s based on the lives of the Tuskeegee Airmen because the movie’s all black cast.

He tends to used plenty of beautiful ladies in this video, but it never comes off too raunchy. Although raunchy is good sometimes depending on what it is. Gods’illa- “Sal’s Pizzeria” (Video)

This is the new video from DMV representatives Gods’illa, from their CPR Blendtape hosted by Erykah Badu. “Sal’s Pizzeria” is a tribute to the classic Spike Lee joint “Do the Right Thing”. The CPR Blendtape was most definitely one of the best releases of 2011, which displayed these brotha’s abilities to spit content and substance over a variety of styles while maintaining a quality sound. I had the pleasure of meeting Gods’illa in 2010, and like I said then, these cats are going to do damage in the game for a long time, so get used to the name.Enjoy!
